This tour was the most educational and definitely one of the best I've been on with a trip advisor booking. The group was small so we were able to meet and talk with the other people in the group. The tour bus was very comfortable, and the driver, Carsten, was such a smooth driver that I did not have to take my motion sickness pill. As for our guide, Hans, he was an expert of the areas we visited, sharing all the history and details with the group. Hans used the speaker system while narrating, so it was very clear and audible throughout the tour. The information that Hans provided to inform us of the history and background of the places we visited was a basic expectation of a great tour, and Hans met every aspect of my expectations. Hans was definitely an experienced professional at guiding tourists like us. Many thanks and appreciation for a job well done. I would definitely book another tour with Grayline Zurich.

My tour was booked months in advance, was canceled the evening before departure. It was not the cancellation, but the lateness of the cancellation. This was my last tour booked, and the other tours they offered, I had done. I asked for a refund, and it was given promptly. All tours cancelled by operator, should be at least 24hrs in advance, the same amount of time I am required to give the operator.

Fantastic tour. It takes a lot of tour organizational skills to keep everyone on a tight time schedule. There are trains to board that can’t be missed. Our tour guide “Kid” was amazing. Kid kept us moving, on schedule, and still made sure each of us had the best pictures. Dress in layers, listen for the instructions given, and hydrate plenty due to the altitude. Bring gloves, sun glasses, chapstick, water, and shoes for ice and snow. Last, get a good nights rest, and show up early to the checkin booth. There is a free restroom next door to the checkin booth, and plz use before you board the bus. The bus leaves right on time, as there are trains to catch. This is a must adventure, recommend.

This was hands down the most amazing trip I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide Kid, Grey Line tours, was the best!! He is so fun and made sure we had the best time. He also helped us make the most out of our experience by taking all the pictures and videos of us individually and with whoever you were with!! The man needs a raise!! The weather was perfect and our group was great. If you’re on the bus and you’re making the stop in interlaken or Grindelwald, and not going to the top of Europe, you will regret it! Upgrade your trip, go to the very top and soak In all the views! It’s even beautiful on the way down!! Thank you Kid for an amazing day! You’re the best! (We visited on Nov 10 2024..) Not long after the tour started the guide went round everyone trying to upgrade our tickets to go on the 'Top of Europe' trip. Cash only was the option and card was not accepted. We had to decline due to this as the additional amount was around 200 Swiss francs which we hadn't carried with us. When we arrived in Grindelwald we were dropped slightly away from the centre (5-10 min walk) and had to ask the driver how to get into the town as the guide had gone with the group that paid extra and the driver was just going to drive off. When we got into town we found just about everything was closed as it was a local holiday. The guide had told us about Grindelwald First and that was also closed. So much for being a good guide. With it being a holiday the trip shouldn't have even gone ahead. We ended up getting a train back one stop to the Eiger and spent our time there as did others on the trip who had found themselves in the same position as us. We worked out we could have saved nearly 50% of the trip cost doing it ourselves.

Very competent driver. And informative host. Both did very well. The views were very picturesque. Definitely a trip worth taking. I wish it left earlier morning (9 am) to take in more views on the return drive.

No other word for the trip, it was just amazing. From start to finish the trip was fab, there were so many different views and sights to see. The trip was via bus, train and cable car and it was so nice seeing the different views of the towns as well as the beautiful mountains! Kid was the best tour guide and it was just such a great experience!!

I can’t make this trip due to meeting point on trip advisor showing below address but later tour operator send me this. I reached there but nothing there. I already paid for this trip in advance but can’t make it. I will zero trust in app like trip advisor.

Enjoyable day trip from Zurich offering the opportunity to take in the scenery around Zurich, Lake Zurich, Lake Walenese along with visits to the old town of Rapperswil, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the home of Heidi at Heididorf. The day was ideal for travel, despite been mid October allowing it to be a pleasure to leave the bus at any of the stops. Only fault would be that at any of the stops there was insufficient time to have a meal - can be a long day from leaving Zurich at 11am before returning at 6:40 pm.

Start to finish, it was a well-run and interesting tour. Ramond was a stellar guide and Carsten an excellent driver. We saw incredible countryside, lovely towns, and we were given ample time to see what we came to see. The lunch recommendation was perfect, and the other travelers were kind and friendly. 5🌟 all the way.

Fabulous tour, lots of information to take in and very beautiful scenery. We had plenty of time in each location we stopped to explore. Our guide and driver were fantastic and really informative and also offered to take pictures for everyone.

Had a pleasant experience. Guide was good and knowledgeable, providing good information timely. Bus (coach) is also good. Route is short and easy. Definitely recommended.

What a fun filled day. Kid was our guide and he did a spectacular job of keeping us in line and safe and on point to see everything. He knows what he’s doing, although you don’t want to at first, pay attention to him. The sights are incredible and the cogwheel train and then the cable car was unforgettable. And it really wasn’t cold. Many of us felt dizzy but he urged us to take our coats off and that helped a lot. Great day!

It is advertised and sold as a two hour tour. It is NOT a two hour tour. It's 1.5 hours with 20 minute stop. Disappointed. Had to sit and wait for the driver to get off the phone before we left.
