Itinerary

Following departure from a designated meeting point in Florence, head toward the medieval town of Monteriggioni, a ring-shaped citadel built in 1203.

After ticking off Monteriggioni’s historic highlights, continue to Siena for a guided walking tour, during which you can enter the world-famous Siena Cathedral (Il Duomo).

Enjoy free time to purchase lunch before you proceed to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the renowned Vernaccia wine. Following ample free time to explore, your tour culminates with a wine-tasting session in Chianti.

Please note, from April 1, 2018, the entrance to Siena Cathedral will not be included. Instead, the tour package will include a light lunch in a restaurant in Siena, tied together with a pastry-tasting session.

Lissy (Lucy? Sorry!) and Bus driver Raffaeli did a great job at hosting today. As with everyone else, I read the reviews before booking.. it’s easy to dwell on the bad reviews but ignore the naysayers who want a million dollar tour for a dollar....More
