Stop at a distinguished wine estate for a tour. Learn about winemaking secrets and traditions, including how the grapes are crushed and the wine is matured and bottled. Enjoy a tasting of Chianti, dessert wine, or a prominent white wine.
Then, head to Greve, a medieval village where one of the region’s most important wine festivals is held. Explore the village’s central piazza and artisan shops.
Your next stop is a family-run winery. Take a guided tour of the cellar and taste wine and local products in the garden.
Finally, stop at Castellina, a hilltop village with a large fortress and Etruscan ruins. Explore the village’s medieval streets and square before heading back to Florence.

This was an excellent tour covering the alternative winemaking processes and an excellent session with one of the Somelliers. The village and fort visits completed a wonderful half day tour.

It was a beautiful trip, the bus was on time, and very comfortable. The tour guide very nice and knowledgeable. The view of the Chianti area was amazing and the two wineries were just perfect: great wine and an excellent relaxing romantic afternoon.

It’s an afternoon tour, we left around 1:30pm and came back close to 7:30pm. The tour takes you to 2 wineries for the wine tastings, and you visit 2 small towns for about 1/2 hour each where you can eat something.
