The class was amazing! We were met at the ship, taken to our host's lovely home and enjoyed a great time making pasta, bread and tiramisu. It was wonderful to spend time with a native of Sicily and learn about the food and culture. We were so glad to have had this adventure.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our cooking lesson with Rosella. We learned how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. Everything tasted great. We'll be getting a pasta machine when we get back home.

Rosella and her family were such wonderful hosts and teachers for my family. We had a brief stay in Sicily and are so happy we got to spend some of it cooking and enjoying a morning learning cooking with Rosella in her lovely home. Her recipes are delicious and easy to follow and her husband and mother in law helped to make the experience even more special and welcoming. I highly recommend her!

Had to cancel night before due to NCL cruise ship not being able to dock in Messina. Cancelled on app but no refund because of full 24 hour cancel policy but when it’s out of your control and the captain doesn’t inform passengers until 12 hours in advance, you lose your $300. So be aware.

We had such a wonderful time, I would gladly do this again. Lots of laughing and plenty of food tasting. The views were incredible!

What a great day we had making pasta and cannolis! We were traveling two families - with kids ages 13, 12 and 9 and everyone was engaged! The food was great and we had a memorable experience. We had an issue with taxi drivers and the host helped us! If you are cruising a taxi should be around 5 euros a person, walk a block from the port as they try to rip you off there! Had a great time and would recommend!!

Consuelo was the BEST! She invited total strangers to her home and we left as friends and better cooks! We made pumpkin ravali, macaroni and spaghetti with meatballs. We had to use Google Translate but it was no problem at all. She was always keeping us up to date using What's Ap. Here home is warm and friendly and we would definitely recommend Consuelo if you are ever in the Port of Messina.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience I/we shared with Consuelo, she took us into her home we felt comfortable & we felt at home! She has a lovely place and updated kitchen. Just as we started to prepare dessert for later, she poured a fantastic drink (I'm now looking for the ingredients in the states). So yummy! There was a slight language barrier, but we totally made it work and got the cooking done. I have written down the ingredients to make in the future. The time flew by so quickly after cooking we shared the meal with her aunt and mother and enjoyed great conversation. And played with your little doggie, Nina. This was a great experience and if I am back to Messina in the future I will certainly request to cook at her place again.

Daniela was the cooking teacher and she was wonderful. The food was so good. Her apartment had the best views for eating outside. The address was a little confusing but we made it. We were told to meet at the Piazza but no one met us. We did have a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this experience enough!! My husband and I were on our honeymoon, and wanted to experience a true Italian cooking class. This is that experience. We were welcomed into Daniela's home, learned about the culture, and even got to try some yummy Sicilian snacks before we dove in. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. This was the best part of our trip to Italy!!! Highly recommend!

Consuelo is a wonderful cook, a patient teacher and a warm and generous host. I enjoyed going to the market and getting a guided tour through sun-splashed Messina to our host’s home. I was made to feel welcome and a friend of the family, as Consuela proceeded with the lesson and we prepared 3 delightful courses, including homemade pasta, a baked dish of farina and pecorino and a memorable tiramisu! A truly memorable experience! Thank you Consuelo, from my heart ❤️

We had such a wonderful time with Maria, we instantly felt like we were hanging out with friends we had known a long time. Her home is lovely and all of the food was excellent. I can’t wait to go home and try to make my own pasta! This was the most memorable part of our entire trip and we hope to be able to return again someday.

Rosella and her husband, Giuseppe, were wonderful! We had a fantastic experience and they truly opened their home to us. Rosella’s cooking was phenomenal and we learned so much about recipes, culture, and family tradition. This was our favorite excursion of our trip because it was authentic.
