I spent a month at the monsoon riverside hotel and it is such a beautifully run hotel. Led by their manager Sopot his team takes care of you. among the chaos of the area Sopot provides a welcome oasis! I will stay here again!

    Great food and walking experience!
We had an amazing food and walking tour with Fabrizio. It was the perfect balance of walking and eating. The group was relatively small and we all had a chance to try different foods. Fabrizio was also very open for recommending other things to do while visiting. I’d highly recommend this tour!

    A+ Tour Guide
What a great time we had on the Food tour! From start to finish Fabrizio was welcoming, informative, and fun. His depth of historical knowledge was incredible which left us with an awe of the beginnings and development of Palermo. Fabrizio’s playful relationship with the food vendors was fun to watch and easy to see why they enjoy working with him to serve us delicious food. We left the tour extremely satisfied both historically and gastronomically!

Loved the market and the monuments
Fabrizio was a great guide, he goes above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted and needed. The market he took us to was the best one in the city. He’s knowledgeable and his English is perfect. We would certainly recommend his tour.

    Fun and unforgettable
Fabrizio was extremely responsive and able to accommodate my wife and I on a short notice. He prefers to keep the groups small and intimate, which is good, because to see the interesting places you’ll want to see, you may have to navigate some crowds. He adores the beautiful city of Palermo and is intimately familiar with local history; he happily shares that history and it provides an interesting backdrop for what you are looking at in the moment. Then there’s the food. Wow. We skipped a lot of crowds and somehow found ourselves with front row seating for an excellent culinary experience (again, thanks, Fabrizio!). He challenged us to try foods we were unfamiliar with and we were glad that he did. The tour was fun and simply unforgettable.

Great Tour of Palermo’s Sights and Tastes
Fabrizio did a great job introducing us to the sights and tastes of Palermo. Though we’d visited the Cathedral on our own the day before, Fabrizio shared information and history that is not I n the guidebooks. We strolled down seemingly nondescript streets that are, in fact, rich in history. Plus we ate well. A great tour!

Best tour and best tour operator we have ever had. Fabrizio was highly experienced and very knowledgeable and funny at times too. Our group included a family of 4 with one child in a pram and a lady who had both hips replaced but the walk was so easy. The food was excellent and some of us even tried the spleen dish which we also liked. The tour made for an excellent day in Palmero. Highly recommended

If you are hoping for an experience that is a laugh a minute , choose a different tour. Fabrizio is Sicilian and very proud of the city. You will learn, during the 3 hours, a huge amount about Palermo, it’s history, culture and, of course, it’s food. His tour holds your interest throughout , it’s humorous and the food is excitingly different. Your 3 hours will pass unbelievably fast. Enjoy!

Fabrizio expertly guided our group of five though some of the best known sites of the historical center of Palermo. He was interesting, fun and knowledgeable, and also made good choices for where to stop for street food, providing great explanations all along. He also quickly responded to a question I sent him that I had about the city that only occurred to me a day or so after the tour was over. Highly recommended!

Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. A great mix of food & history. Fabrizio is so knowledgeable & entertaining, he knows his city inside & out. We were a group of 8 & he kept things moving while sharing history, stories, cultural nuances & language with us. His English was excellent & he was able to explain so much. We tasted some great local specialities, explored the Capo market & saw the cathedral (we had time for a visit inside). At the end of the tour Fabrizio made some recommendations & pointed us in the direction for other places to visit in Palermo’s old town. Grazing mille!

I spent an amazing day ! I did this tour for my first day in Palermo, which was a great idea to get an overview of the city. Frabrizio combines perfectly food specialities and historical places, so it was very complete. We also had a little Italian and Sicilian class.
I learnt a lot about the delicious food of Palermo and the differences with other cities of Sicilia (especially the “arrancine” 😉). Frabrizio gave us many recommendations on what can be done in the city. Also, he payed attention to each member of the group during all the tour, which was very appreciable.

Fabrizio was an excellent guide who accommodated everyone's needs in the group. A very knowledgeable, funny and interesting guide that gave me more context of Palermo than I received from other walking tours I had done previously in Palermo. The food stops and explanations were amazing and I now have a greater understanding of sicily and Palermo specifically. Do not come to Palermo without booking this tour!!

Book this tour if you can! Absolutely wonderful walking and street food walking tour of the fascinating city of Palermo. This was the first activity we did and I’m so glad we started our city break with this experience. Our guide Fabrizio gave us so much insight into the history and culture of the city that we otherwise wouldn’t have learned on our own. He was funny, charming and as a true local and was incredibly knowledgeable and also gave great advice on what else to see and where to eat on the rest of our visit. Don’t hesitate to book this experience if there are spots available.
