Worst experience. Rude owner and the driver. Bad service
Hello, I usually never write bad reviews about anyone but this was much needed. Me and my wife booked a private tour to dolomites. It costed us 850 euros. What the agency (Venice Events) initially offered us that you can go to Ortisei, Lake Misurina, Lake Auronzo, Cortina since its your private tour and not a group tour (In group tour, Ortisei is not included) We paid 850 euros and booked the tour for both of us. Next day we were supposed to meet at 8:15 am at the meeting point Piazzle Roma and we reached on time. FIRST MISTAKE OF THE AGENCY: LACK OF INFORMATION Surprisingly, we were not given the driver and the car details prior by the agency and we wasted first 15 minutes in just searching the driver. We called the agency four times and even sent a whatsapp message but they were least bothered to answer or reply. But finally we found the driver after a long time. SECOND MISTAKE OF THE AGENCY: NOT ANSWERING CALLS OF THE CUSTOMER AND FAKE PROMISES After we met the driver he told us about the plan of action and he said we will go to Ortisei and return back to venice at 5:00 pm. What about the other places ? We were shocked to hear this as this was not what we were told while paying a hell lot of amount. Wasted another 15-20 mins in this argument. Again called the agency to reconfirm but still they did not answer our calls. Anyhow we agreed to the driver and cancelled Ortisei and just went for Cortina, Lake Misurina and Lake Auronzo. THIRD MISTAKE OF THE AGENCY: BEING RUDE TO CUSTOMERS We requested the driver to cancel lake Auronzo and take us to Lake Braies which was equidistant and we would reach Venice after that at the same time The driver was so rude to a point that he started arguing in a very disgusting language with my wife. When my wife asked him why was he using such a language and high tone he replied ‘THATS HOW WE ITALIANS ARE’ We had to get off the car as the driver was shouting on top of his voice. We were just shocked to listen how the agency talks to their customers when the rude behavior was reported to the agency When we booked the tour the owner of the tour told us since its a private tour you can fully customize it but just need to keep the time in mind which we already were following Please beware of them as they would be extra sweet while booking the tour but wouldn’t even mind a bit if u are in trouble or their car drivers are rude to you. Infact it seems they themselves book the cab drivers through some third party agency Since even the driver wasn’t given half the information Writing this elaborate review so that someone else’s hard earned money is saved!! Not sure about their group tours but refrain from booking their private tours instead go for self drive and save your trip from getting spoiled.

    Worth the price
Our guide was fantastic—perfect blend of history and humor in taking us through the basilica. Worth the price to have a guide.

    Buon Basic
This was a pretty standard introductory tour to St. Mark's Basilica. Worth it for the skip-the-line and the general information.

Privileged to have visited and received the history
Excellent guide gave a wealth of information and perspective of the different time frames in history. Magnificent building - the interior and exterior imprinted on our minds forever. A great privilege to have done this tour. We gleaned fart more than if we'd done the walk around on our own.

    Great tour
Great guide - very knowledgeable but not boring. Brilliant to skip the long queue. Got loads of photos and you can stay on after official tour finishes

Look elsewhere for a better experience…
This gondola ride was a total waste of money. Finally found the location and then had to put up with the guy running the place being rude. The actual guy steering the gondola was also rude…no real greeting and then for the entire trip was on his phone. Never once told us anything about the area we were in, etc. The rise itself is pitiful…up the grand canal for 100 meters and then around a few back canals and back to base….30 minutes is questionable. I thought we’d save money pre-booking but in hind sight is rather get a ride with some of the other companies we saw around Venice.

    Great tour
Our guide, Diana, was very interesting and knowledgeable. I had booked this tour only a few weeks ago, and it was the only one left with our short timing constraints. As it happened, I was not able to go on the entire tour because of the status up to the second floor. But my husband was able to go without me, and even he had a difficult time on the stairs being 6'2! The inside of the church has to be the most gorgeous place in earth!

It Was a Great Walking Tour Full of Hidden Treasures
After a wonderful day in Venice, we had the opportunity to discover the hidden treasures of the city with the San Polo, Rialto, Frari 2-Hour Private Walking Tour. The guide of our tour was an expert who offered us unique insights not only into history and art, but also into the mysterious fabric and daily life of Venice.

Still standing after thousands of years
What an amazing experience it was to visit St. Mark Basilica in Venice! I could not believe that I was taken back to a time that was thousands of years ago! Our tour guide, Deanna, was not only knowledgeable but made me feel that I was actually present during the construction of this beautiful Basilica. This is an amazing experience not to be missed when you visit Venice!
