Overview
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.
What to Expect
At Alilaguna pier in front of the Royal Gardens (Giardinetti Reali), board your motorboat to set off across the Venetian Lagoon for Murano. Disembark and stroll around the island with your guide.

Stop at a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower create sculptures in a centuries-old tradition. Your guide tells you about the island’s history as the former center of European glassmaking. Visit a few sights around the island, including a church with notable mosaics.

Hop back in the boat and move onto lesser-known Torcello, with its ornate palaces and churches. Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the excavated ruins of the Church of Santa Fosca baptistery.

Your third stop is Burano, known for traditional lace production. Walk past the island’s colorful fishermen’s houses, and visit lace shops and the lace museum.

Finish the tour with a boat ride back to Venice.

A brilliant trip, amazing islands!

A great value trip to visit the islands , obviously it’s subsidised by the lacemakers and glass factory they visit but there is no pressure to buy. To see glass blowing in Murano is fascinating, and the visit to the island was too short but...More

Great way to spend a day.

We bought day tickets on the ACTV public water bus line for 20 Euros each (much cheaper than the private water taxis) giving us 24 hour access to ride all ferries. Departing from Fondamente Nove, the first stop was Murano. We really enjoyed watching the...More

Fascinating watching the glass blowing demonstration on Murano. Such skill is truly admirable. The commentary on the ferry was interesting and helpful. Burano is my favourite island of the 3 and it didn’t disappoint with exquisite lace making. Torcello was full of interesting history. Well...More

Not really, due to the short time you get on each island, you do need to be quite mobile to see all the sites. I would suggest getting a 24 hour public transport pass and doing this at your own pace.
