Overview
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.

Highlights
  • Visit three of Venice’s islands in half a day
  • See a glass factory, churches, lace shops, and more without feeling rushed
  • Learn history from a guide you wouldn’t hear traveling on your own
  • Choose a morning or afternoon trip to suit your schedule
What to Expect
Board your motorboat to set off across the Venetian Lagoon for Murano. Disembark and stroll around the island with your guide. Stop at a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower create sculptures in a centuries-old tradition. Your guide tells you about the island’s history as the former center of European glassmaking. Visit a few sights around the island, including a church with notable mosaics. Hop back in the boat and move onto lesser-known Torcello, with its ornate palaces and churches. See the excavated ruins of the Church of Santa Fosca baptistery. Your third stop is Burano, known for traditional lace production. Walk past the island’s colorful fishermen’s houses, and visit lace shops and the lace museum. Finish the tour with a boat ride back to Venice.

Murano and Torcello were not too memorable, but Burano alone was worth the price of admission. I would recommend entering from the San Marco pier rather than the Santa Lucia pier, as your wait time will be a bit less. Make sure to redeem your Tripadvisor receipt for a

I didn't quite like the pacing of the tour. I felt we could have had more time in Burano and less in Murano, but otherwise, no complaints! It was very enjoyable and a GREAT way to see the islands if you don't have the time to do so more slowly.

Really good way to catch a glimpse of these three islands. Murano we had a visit to the glass factory. Fascinating demonstration, with commentary. Bit of a hard sell in the show room afterwards, but no real pressure to buy anything. Burano is a very pretty Island, famous for

Dear trudy c, we would like to thank you for spending some of your time to write a review of our Islands Tour! Our half-day boat excursion aims, as you fairly said, to show a glimpse of the so-called jewels of the northern part of the venetian lagoon: we are glad to read that you loved the Murano, Burano and Torcello as much as we do! We are sorry that the church of Torcello was closed due to Coronavirus: Veneto Region decided to take strict safety measure to contain the spread of the virus, but luckily everything is back to normality now! We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Venice and we wish to see you again in your next visit. Best regards,

I had a lovely time once on the trip however it was not clear on trip advisor that they wouldn't accept my phone barcode and you had to exchange it at the ticket office. I almost missed the boat and the staff were very rude in the process. The islands are lovely and next time I

This was a great tour, but on the day we went it was quite foggy so while on the boat we couldn't see much of the sites, however we did love watching the glass blowing masters at work! such an amazing skill and they do it with ease. well worth the experience
