Stroll through the interior while your guide tells you about the cathedral’s 50 stained-glass windows, thousands of statues, and many works of art. Then, head down the marble staircase to an underground crypt where a 16th-century archbishop is buried. - SteVen B0 contributionsTurn key way to see all of lake como and Lugano! Felt shorter than 8 hours.Andrea was a fantastic tour guide that kept us engaged and entertained with jokes, questions, and information about lake como and its people. Even with some rain in our tour, he was delightful and knew how to keep us dry and entertained. The tour in general was 10/10. Even at 8 hours, we were given ample opportunity to rest which made it feel shorter. The 2 hour ferry goes by quickly with the gorgeous views. Bellagio has some great food and views. The bus ride is a good rest. And Lugano is modern and beautiful! Highly recommend this tour if you want a turn key way of to see the best parts of lake como and Lugano.Written 7 September 2024
- Elham K0 contributionsAmazing tourI’m glad that I attended to this trip Kevin our tour leader was wonderful. I suggest everybody visiting Milan also go to visit Lake Como and Bellagio, Italy. It's an amazing experience.Written 6 September 2024

Highly recommend this tour which cover many great Milano sites. Ensure you have good walking shoes. ThanksWritten 5 September 2024

- debragF5660CC0 contributionsGreat overview of Milan’s favourite sitesThe trip allowed us to see a lot of Milan major sites easily in one day It was well paced easy access to the last supper an duomo and lots of interesting information in a small groupWritten 27 August 2024
- Callmecarolina0 contributionsPerfect to get to know Milan in 1 dayCristina was a great guide, super nice, and I understood her english perfectly (even though I'm not an native english speaker). The tour covers the historical highlights, fast track to see the Duomo, and obviously the Last Supper which is a hard ticket to catch. A great way to pack Milan in 6 hours without feeling rushedWritten 22 August 2024
- Explore546031275020 contributionsDepends on guide! Our guide was not very engaging. I believe her name was Nona. She was kind, but I felt like she was just talking and talking. We walked very slowly most of the route, but still some people would be left behind at traffic stops. She did not turn to see if we had everyone consistently. Additionally, at the very end of our tour (LAST SUPPER), I felt like we walked so fast, like we were trying to get to the place in record time. I wish it could have been paced better and hoped our guide was more engaging. There was no jokes, no tips of good places to visit, however, she was very knowledgeable of history.Written 18 August 2024
- RonWaer0 contributionsA great tour guide makes all the difference. Our tour guide was enchanting and informative. It’s a lot of walking but totally worth it. To sit in the same room as the last supper was incredibleWritten 9 August 2024
- georgepP1960OA0 contributionsInformative, fun and a comprehensive intro to Milan.I had never been to Milan before, so this was an informative way to getting know it on foot. Simon, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and witty, always seeking to keep us engaged. It made the fact that it was sweaty and hot the whole time seem mostly irrelevant! Would recommend - lots to do, be prepared to clock in lots of steps and sweat a gallon if you’re British!Written 1 August 2024
- V6847BOeb0 contributionsValue for moneyThe tour was great value for money. It covered all the main sights to visit in Milano plus no queuing to see the Last Supper.Written 30 July 2024
- I7305PXanthonyp0 contributionsMilan Duomo and DaVinci MasterpiecesThis was an amazing tour, and I would highly recommend it. Our guide, Emanuella, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing, and also took the time to explain some of the local customs in Milan, like the cover charge for a table in a restaurant, the free, clean water fountains, and the protocol for sitting at a table where you had not bought food. All aspects of this tour were excellent and two were outstanding and the reason we booked this particular tour. One cannot get tickets on one's own to see DaVinci's Last Supper and the Resurrection, and one needs a ticket to get into the Milan Duomo (Cathedral), both included in this tour. One always remembers the breathtaking experiences in life, and these fit this category. We gained access to the Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie to the paintings of Last Supper and the Resurrection, both in the same, access-controlled room. Each group of twenty-five can only access the room for fifteen minutes. It is fifteen minutes of pure pleasure looking at these two masterpieces. And Emanuella was able to provide great, rich detail on each of the works. One of those moments you want to last for hours. The next stop was the Duomo, the largest church in Italy (as the Vatican is outside Italy, technically). The Duomo is absolutely magnificent, inside and out. It is a truly - take your breath away - moment seeing this structure. After a tour of the exterior, Emanuella explained many of the highlights of the interior of the Duomo, as amazing as the outside. One has the ability to spend additional time inside at the end of the tour, which I would recommend. Also included was a guided tour of Castello Sforzesco, an ancient castle in Milan. Unfortunately, the last, unfinished work of Michaelangelo, a Pieta, was not included in the tour. This was my only slight regret. One can easily go back and buy tickets on one's own; we just ran out of time and energy after such a full and exciting day. This tour is well worth your time and money. Would not visit Milan without doing it all over again.Written 23 July 2024
- Pioneer067371386780 contributionsTake care choosing a tour if you want to include the Duomo rooftopThe tour did not clearly state that entry to the Duomo rooftop was not included and it was difficult to understand the English used by the guide. Would not recommend to others.Written 23 July 2024

- C8185EMdonnah0 contributionsAwesome tour, great guideFantastic tour, can't recommend it enough. Last Supper was amazing to see up close after only seeing it in books previously. Guide was excellent, humorous and knowledgeable. He also recommended places for lunch in the area which was helpful. Take the underground to the meeting point if you are staying close to Milano Centrale as we were.Written 22 July 2024

Guide was terrific, your was a mess. We were not told we’re to meet up so spent an hour trying to solve the puzzle. This problem repeated on a second tour at sforza Castle, so it appears to be a feature of the program not a big. To make matters worse, the Duomo tour was waylaid by steady rain making the rooftop slippery and creating a long line. No fun waiting in the rain on a slippery roof top for an hour while the line snakes around the roofline and down slippery steps.

Dear Johathan, the meeting point was clearly indicated in your voucher and luckly you could be able to reach it at around 2:13pm (the tour starting time was at 2:15pm so you were in time).
Furthermore in the square there was a big stage in front of the meeting point (so it was not easy to find it) and everything was set up for a concert that would have been take place on the day after, but for sure you forgot to mention this in your review.
The Sforza Castle tour was not belonging to our company so better if you write this part of the review in the correct tour page.
Last but not least it was raining and there was a lot of people on the rooftops, true, but it was not our fault, i suggest you to write this on the Duomo Cathedral Tripadvisor page.
Best Regards
Davide

I would not recommend spending your money with this tour. Our tour guide was very sweet. However, she kept playing with her microphone and would wander away from the entire tour group!! There was a point where we just had a self guided tour because many of our group lost our tour guide. We also spent extra money on the skip the line tickets. We did not get to skip the line when we went to the roof of the Duomo. We had to wait in line like everyone else. For the most part this was a self guided tour and still had to wait in line. I would recommend the cheaper option. I would have given 1 star but the Duomo was beautiful so that is why it gets 2

Dear Peter,
as you can understand everybody have to queue for the rooftop as you have to pass the security check, anyway for the booked groups (like ours) the queue is faster, furthermore you skip the line to get tickets at the ticket office (1 hour waiting), but for sure you forgot to mention this.
Anyway thanks for your feedback.
Best Regards

Not to be missed! The craftsmanship is just crazy amazing. If you’re mobile enough, highly recommend going to the roof to see the work more closely. You can get an elevator part of the way up, but the rest and down is stairs. This is a stunningly beautiful building!

Absolutely superb.
Our guide Chiara was very friendly and took time to get to know a little about us and the rest of our group. She was full of fun and clearly passionate about her city and her topic. The tour was full of interesting facts and figures of the cathedral both indide and out. The use of the lift to go up to the roof was most welcome and it was quite busy up top but worth it for the amazing views and close ups of the spires and statues
Highly recommended

Enlightening, educational and professional guide directed us through the Duomo, beginning with the front doors to the massive interior space. Information on history and architecture of the building and it's contents. Could have spent hours inside. As if there wasn't enough to see, we then went up the elevator to the roof. The views of Milan are incredible. Getting a closer view of the statuary adorning the building was also incredible. I can see why this is one of the top spots to tour in the City. Definitely recommend this tour.

The tour was okay. The tour guide, while she spoke English, spoke way too fast. It was hard to understand her English. She explained the inside of the church and talked about the rooftop while we were inside the church since it was raining. Once we got up part way it was heavy rain. The tour basically ended there. She said she would take those that needed the lift to go up to the rooftop to the lift and the rest who could walk the steps could go up. I’m sure weather was a factor, but felt like she was just glad to have it end without heading up for the rest of the tour. Our ticket included the museum that we could do on our own - so at least we learned more there.

Dear,
thank you for sharing your thoughts, we are sorry that you were not able to fully understand the guide's explanation, surely as you also said, the heavy rain prevented a normal course of the tour, which nevertheless lasted 2 hours and allowed you to see both the cathedral and the terraces, as described.
Definitely what you did not expect was the rain because otherwise we did everything as planned.

The Duomo is not to be missed. Highly recommend this tour as you get priority access to the terraces by elevator. Our guide, Marta, was wonderful...very knowledgeable, friendly and kept up a good pace. Easy to understand, and with the individual audio systems, you never missed what she was saying.

We can highly recommend this tour of Milan's magnificent Doumo. Architecturally varied, with stunning detail work in stone and glass
The roof walk gives an entirely different perspective, not only of the church but the extensive restoration/repair walk, constantly underway.
Our Guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and passionate.

Simone our guide took us first thing into the Cathedral which was perfect as it was not as crowded. The Cathedral is worth many visits but there is just too much to take it all in and having a guide like Simone with such prodigious knowledge meant we could focus on some special stories and features of this magnificent building. I particularly loved the many beautiful stained glass windows from so many centuries. It was a great start to the day. The rooftop tour is delightful as well with views of some iconic buildings and the church and square below. The statues and spires are breathtaking. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it.

Wear comfortable shoes!!! Milan is a beautiful walking city. The Duomo is a must see and I highly recommend purchasing The Skip The Line pass and be sure to include the rooftop. It's so much more than a view of the city.
We had lunch at a nearby Cafe which was lovely. Street side dining added entertainment for people watching with lovely regional wines and delicious tuna salad. Shopping for clothes was a treat!

Hi! I can’t answer you definitively as we didn’t have a child with us, so I took no notice at the door - we had purchased through the company giving the tour and walked in with them. If you are looking at the tour, message them and ask, I found their responses quite timely.

Hello
The tour company called and told me that the time needed to be moved up due to some concert being held at the Duomo. U fortunately this did not work for us as we do not arrive early enough in Milan. So i told them we would have to cancel. However I received a 100% cancellation fee warning because this was issue the 24 hour window. I should not be charged for a tour where they changed the time.

It was confusing, we met across the courtyard when I was there last year. Walking out of Duomo about 300 feet and near last business on left. This tour is especially nice before 10 am or after 5 pm because of heat. Definitely a great tour.
