Booked this for my girlfriend for her birthday. No one showed up at the meeting point. Waited. No one to be seen anywhere.

I wanted to give the tour operator kudos for being flexible after I had made a mistake with my booking dates. Thank you. As for the tour itself, our guide was showed us quite a few interesting sights and we enjoyed the tour quite a lot.

We had an amazing tour around the city and the hills of Bologna. Marco, our guide, was born and raised in Bologna and could give us a look into the real Bologna, beyond what you can read in tourist information. Marco took us to some very interesting places, some of which you'd never visit as a tourist. The bike ride itself was also very varied, we biked through the city centre, through the hills and even some small off-road parts. Marco is very knowledgeable about Bologna's history and can tell you a lot about what role it played as a part of Italy. The e-bikes made the trip very enjoyable, allowing you to climb very steep hills in comfort and enjoy the landscape and information. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bologna!

Was great, learned a lot of interesting things about Bologna. Bikes are cruisers, and a nice relaxing way to see the city. You see quite a few sites, overall a lot more than walking tours would be able to get to or fit in. Some of the other reviews complain about having to cycle around the city and it being a bit challenging. It's hard to understand what they were expecting given its literally a cycle tour around a city. Bologna isn't as touristy as other cities and riders should be comfortable cycling small some distances on roads with cars and pedestrians. There aren't lots of cars and they don't move fast, drivers are patient, and give tour groups wide berths. Overall an extremely pleasant and informative couple of hours! Tip: arrive a little early and have them adjust the seat to your preferred height and angle.

Nice tour, gives a great insight in the history of Bologna. We had a great time. Our guide was a very inspired man with good knowledge of English. We recommend.

Guiseppe was a great guide - so full of interesting local knowledge delivered in such a humorous way. On a bike you cover so much of the city in 2 hours and get off the tourist track. Good opportunity to note what you want to visit. Totally recommend this tour.

Having previously visited Ravenna, I decided to take the walking tour this time to take advantage of the insights provided by a guide. The locations visited by this tour are top notch - worthy of 5 stars. And, we appreciated the insights provided by our guide, although, his English was a little difficult to understand. If you decide on a guided tour, I definitely recommend taking a small group as some of the sights are crowded and not as easily seen in larger groups.

Friendly welcome, yet a bit slow to get started maybe, but they provided a good bike in excellent working order for €10/6 hours which is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I booked the Classic Bologna Walking tour on the first day of my vacation there. I was surprised to find I was the only person booked for the tour that afternoon. My tour guide, Arianna, was wonderful, and spoke English extremely well, which was great because I don't speak Italian. Because it was my first day there, I was able to get the "lay of the ;and", so to speak, which enabled me to get around the inner city for the rest of the week. The city is beautiful, and easy to get around on foot. The history is immeasurable, and the sights awesome. I was able to ask any and all questions of Arianna and her knowledge of the city was impressive. Book the tour. You will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it. We felt very safe on the bikes and the views from the hills were fantastic!

While our guide was lovely and knowledgeable and made numerous stops to talk about the sights, I felt the city itself is not conducive to doing a bike tour. It is crowded with pedestrians, cars and motorcycles and difficult to look around fully appreciate your surroundings while dodging obstacles and trying to keep up with the guide.

We did the 2 hour tour. Have done tours in cities all over. In Bologna its people rather than cars that are the problem. Its still a great way to get a handleon a place & see how everything fits together. The guide was excellent with lots of context. A no brainer. Just do it :)

In a town that might be comparatively limited in things to see this tour was welcome. A very informative and enthusiastic guide (can't remember his name but he is an actor!) who was great. Definitely filled in some hours productively.
