Overview
Make the most of your time in Rome with a private tour from the Civitavecchia port. You'll have the chance to see top attractions like the Roman Forum and Colosseum, plus visit the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. By booking a private shore excursion, you can enjoy a more relaxed pace.
What to Expect
You will be greeted by your driver at the Port of Civitavecchia and will make your way to the historical center of Rome. Your first stop will be at the National Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II in stunning Piazza Venezia.

You will then continue on to the splendors of Ancient Rome, which include  Roman and Imperial Forums, the Colosseum (from the outside), both Capitoline and Palatine Hills, Circus Maximus, and the ancient Pantheon.

From there, you will walk through famed Piazza Navona, stop at the Spanish Steps, before throwing a coin into Trevi Fountain (to ensure your return to Rome!)

After a stop for an authentic Italian lunch, you will head over to the Vatican where you will spend the rest of your afternoon amazed by the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica for a couple of hours.

Upgrade to include a private 3-hour guided tour of a selection of the above sites, and the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica (sites visited subject to local conditions, to be decided on the day of your tour with your guide). After seeing Rome's 'must-see' sites, your driver will take you safely back to the port of Civitavecchia.
