Where to start…….the guide met us a 5 min walk away from the Vatican which was really good when you see the amount of people waiting to get in. After a little while waiting for tickets and head sets we entered. I’m glad we had the guide as I wouldn’t have know where to start, so many people!
Our guide Eugenia was herself very informative with excellent English. Sometime through headsets it’s difficult to understand if the accent is strong. We should learn Italian I hear you say and you are correct but for a 5 day holiday it’s a lot to ask lol.
Wow is all I can say for the thousands of people all being herded in one direction. No time to see what the museum holds, being pushed and prodded in every direction. Whilst it is a lovely place the crowds were too much for me. It really should be cut down for better viewing experience.
The basilica was much calmer, fewer people. We were advised to clim to the top but the queue again was way too long.
Overall…..as in Rome it’s a must but be careful if you don’t like crowds. The guide did a great job it’s not her fault they allow too many people in.

We very much appreciated your recognition of your talented guide Eugenia, and it would be fair to say that sites are quite busy here, being the first real season that folks are able to travel freely again and eager to visit all the places which they have so been looking forward to. All sites have limited ticket availability and each their own administrations who decide how many to let in. Whether busy or almost empty (that you can often find during the winter months!), we do always say it is worth having an expert guide for the Vatican and many other wonders here in Italy, while some can easily be explored in your own free time so we are delighted you chose to join us. Come back in January or February, mid November is also a superb time for more adventures! Pips

We had a wonderful tour of the Vatican museum including Sistine Chapel and St. Peter Basilica led by Thomas Robinson of Through Eternity Tours. Thomas was very knowledgeable and provided great stories and background of visited areas. He also graciously answered all our questions and made sure we had an enjoyable and memorable visit. This tour was also a great timesaver with Covid precautions and limited museum access.

We are so happy you enjoyed your tour with Thomas and us at the Vatican! We are so glad that it was informative, fun, and Thomas did a magical job telling the wonderful story behind the historic Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Additionally, we are so glad that it was a timesaver with respect to covid precautions and we are more than gracious that you had a wonderful time on tour. We would be more than thrilled to have you tour with us again! Jade

Gracelynn was wonderful. So incredibly knowledgeable and has such passion for the art and history of the Vatican, the museums, and Sistine Chapel. She was easy-going and a pleasure to spend time with. We were late to the tour (our fault) so we missed the Basilica. [Instead of just letting us miss our tour the office emailed me immediately to see if we could still make the second half. They didn’t have to do that]

Additionally, there were a few problems when I first signed up for the tour - misunderstanding about prices and private vs. group tours, but the office of Eternity Tours, and Pip in particular went to great lengths to make sure I was happy. It was customer service like I have rarely experienced. I would highly recommend this tour agency and would absolutely use them again.

Thank you SO MUCH for your wonderful review of your tour at the Vatican with Gracelyn yesterday and we were so happy to have worked things out and that you were able to explore these world famous museums during the Christmas period and that we got you hooked up with Gracelyn in time for the entrance. It was a pleasure to have had you all with us and thank you again for your own cooperation and kindness! We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and hope to have you with us for more adventures in the future. Happy holidays to you all! Pips

Great overview tour of Vatican City. We had Guia as our guide and her experience was evident. She managed to keep the balance between pacing the tour and presenting anything significant which is no easy feat. We had limited time in Rome this trip and really wanted to see the Vatican, so this was ideal. So impressed, I will definitely book with them next time I am in a city where they offer tours.

We thank you for your kind and valuable words and for choosing to tour with us! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your short but concise and informative tour with our lovely guide, Guia. We agree with you, Guia is quite extraordinary, and we are so lucky to have her be one of the guides on our team. Although the trip was quick, we are so happy to hear that it was well-balanced and informative. Thank you, again, for choosing to tour with us and we would be more than delighted to welcome you back soon! Jade

John Tinto was best tour guide I’ve ever had. He apparently has been doing this for 29 years and although his knowledge shows that experience his interest is still on at 100%…..a very, interested, knowledgeable and caring tour guide. I loved every minute of this extended tour of one of the most interesting places I have ever been.

You struck gold to bag yourselves our wonderful John as guide, he has indeed been showing folks around for all those years and his passion and enthusiasm is by no means diminished, quite the opposite and he was very excited to get back to his usual busy guiding schedule this season after what we call a bit of hibernation during the pandemic, and has been on fire these last few weeks, and not due to the Roman summer weather! To be named as the best tour guide EVER is quite an accomplishment but quite frankly, does not surprise us, we too agree he is creme of the crop! Thanks a million for your superb review, be sure to come and visit us again very soon and ask for John, he would be thrilled to show you more of Rome's sites! Pips

Our tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St Peter's Basilica with Guia Grandi was excellent. Finding the meeting point was easy as we were given clear instructions by email, which included a photo of the meeting point so we knew we were definitely in the right place. Guia was a very knowledgeable tour guide and told everything in an interesting way. Her walking pace was good and allowed time to make sure you could properly look at things and take photos. Would definitely recommend it.

Very nice tour with Through Eternity!! Our guide John was so nice and knowledgeable about everything. We were travelling with our baby (10 months old) and we got our way through the all tour without a problem. We wouldn’t have don’t it without a guide as there is a lot of information/stories we would have missed on our own. Definitely a mandatory tour with your visit to the Vatican.

Fantastic experience! John was as knowledgeable as he was personable. He made the history come alive in an uncommon way. This was my third tour of the Vatican, and by far the most enjoyable. If you are planning a tour of this amazing site, you deserve an equally amazing guide!

This tour was the only one we pre-booked. We committed to not overbooking our selves and enjoying being in Rome, Italy. We never imagined we would feel honored to have been able to have Lorenzo - a true maestro - as our guide. His passion for his field of expertise was unmatched other guides we observed during the tour. He was considerate of our ignorance and dedicated to helping us appreciate the true beauty and significance of every aspect of these ostentatious places. Thanks so much Lorenzo!
