Maximizing your time when you are on vacation is extremely important. This is why we have developed a bike tour that is an eco-friendly and enjoyable, showcasing the best of Rome's beauty, history and culture without overheating. What would you prefer - 4 hours of walking in the hot sun and seeing a small part of the city or cruising on an Electric bike with the wind blowing through your hair and seeing practically the whole city? With the Eco-Friendly E-Bike Rome Tour, we think we have achieved perfection!
The best part about using an Electric bike, is that you barely have to pedal and the bike goes by itself. With our E-bikes, you will get to where the vehicles cannot reach, and cover more ground than your feet would be able to, in only a couple of hours. And in case you're not familiar with E-bikes, we have good news for you - they almost run by themselves without you even having to pedal much! This tour will bring you to all of the must-see sites of Rome, but you will also get to admire the back streets, hidden piazzas, secret passages and spots with amazing views. So have your camera charged, you will be taking lots of photos.
We will depart from our office in the city center, taking you past Piazza Venezia, the central square of Rome. We will then continue cruising by the Colosseum, the famous arena where gladiators spilled blood in front of the audience of thousands. After viewing the exterior of the legendary monument and taking some photos, we will continue though the Ancient ruins of what were once Trajan's Baths and is now a pleasant and quiet park.
All of the main sites of the city center that you have heard of will be covered on this trip, for example the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. However, we don't stop there, since there are so many other amazing sites to visit. You will ride through the gorgeous Villa Borghese, as well as the lovely scenic neighborhoods of Trastevere, after which we will cross the river again, this time going over the famous Tiber Island, which is one of the oldest parts of Rome and also has the oldest bridge in Rome dating back to Ancient Roman Times. On the other side, we will take a journey through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter, still today holding close ties to the Jewish community of Rome.
At this point we say goodbye, but It won't be hard to to find your way back to your hotel. Your guide will be happy to offer further instructions on where to go and how to go back to some of your favorite spots on this tour!
