Small-Group Pompeii with Amalfi Coast Drive and Positano Stop from Rome
From US$212.38
Overview
Pack two of Italy’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii—into one day on a tour that includes easy round-trip transport from Rome. Your guide knows the best ways to get around Italy and keep you safe when driving along the twisty, hard-to-navigate roads of the Amalfi Coast, leaving you free to focus on the scenery rather than the roads.
What to Expect
Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour picks you up from central Rome. Hop aboard a climate-controlled vehicle, and get ready for the ride to your first stop of the day—Pompeii.

Once you get to the ancient Roman city, meet up with your guide and learn all about the history yourself as you follow your guide around the ancient ruins.

Afterward, your guide takes you down the roads of the Amalfi Coast on a beautiful vista drive. Your guide is an expert navigator, and heads down the roads easily even with the hairpin turns. Your group stops in Positano, where you can enjoy free time wandering the area. You can eat lunch while you’re there if you choose (own expense).

Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour ends with a ride back to where you started the day in Rome.

Enjoyed the tour!

This is a looong day but really can't be helped if you are looking to pack in Positano AND Pompeii. Lot's of driving and not a lot of time in each location but the time you do have is good and you get to see...More

Good experience, lots of sights, but a LOOOONG day

Seeing Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Positano was fantastic, but it made for a very long and tiring day and hours aboard a bus. And to make things less great, because this tour covers so much ground, you don't get to savor any one location,...More

Waste of money. Total rip-off

Waste of money. Don’t do the 2 in 1 trips. You don’t really see one or the other. I’ve been to Pompeii before with a different company and really got to see a lot of highlights. But this time it was literally a joke. First...More

A million thanks to Antonella (tour guide) and Giancarlo (driver) who took care of our group and made this trip a wonderful experience. Positano and the Amalfi Coast are exceptionally beautiful and I was glad to be back for my second visit. Pompeii came to...More

Rome visit

It’s a long day but well worth the trip to visit Positano and drive the Amalfi Coast. Pompeii was unbelievable and much larger site that I ever imagined. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history.

I don't think so, as this trip is a limited number of tourists involved, and they keep counting. So you might not have a seat next day. Better check with tnem

We spent just slightly over 2 hours. The site was closing for the day and there was no free time to explore on our own. The guide was very good so it was sufficient time for me, but my husband would have liked more time..
