See the highlights of Rome from the water with a hop-on hop-off cruise on the Tiber River. This cruise lets you see some of the major attractions in Rome, including the Colosseum and Vatican City, with educational commentary along the way. Enjoy wonderful views of the city from the boat, and get on and off as you like. Upgrade your experience to include a hop-on hop-off bus tour for even greater access to explore The Eternal City. Your ticket is good for a full 24 hours, giving you time to see the main sights of this unforgettable city at your leisure.
What to Expect
Hop-On Hop-Off River Cruise
The special open-air boats that operate hop-on hop-off tours along the Tiber River board at four places in Rome - Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber Island (Isola Tiberina), Ponte Sisto or Ponte Cavour. After you board, enjoying the views of Rome as you drift down the river, relax and listen to the recorded audio explaining what you’re seeing.
Your 24-hour ticket allows you to get off the boat at any stop you like in order to explore, getting back on a later boat to continue your cruise. Hop off the boat at Tiber Island for a short walk to sights like the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or at Castel Sant’Angelo to see St. Peter’s Basilica and the rest of Vatican City.
If you stay on board the boat for an entire loop, the trip lasts roughly one hour. Boats arrive every half-hour at each stop.
Hop-On Hop-Off River and Bus
For an even more comprehensive look at the highlights of Rome, upgrade to combine a Tiber River cruise with a 24-hour hop-on hop-off bus ticket. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Rome from the top of an open-air double-decker bus as you travel between the city’s most popular attractions.
Join the bus tour at one of eight stops, getting off at any other stop to explore on foot or visit nearby sights. Disembark at the Trevi Fountain to toss in a coin that ensures a return trip to Rome, or at Piazza Venezia to take the elevator to the top of the Vittoriano monument for more excellent city views.
If you stay on board the bus for an entire loop, the trip lasts roughly 1.5 hours. Buses arrive every 15 minutes at each stop.

River Tiber hop on/ off

Very dull. Wouldn’t bother. It’s not like a trip down the Seine 😴. Nothing to see from river apart from graffiti and homeless people’s Tents

a bit disappointing

found it good way to get across the city and get away from a very busy Rome , but very disappointing and not worth the money you always hire a bike and ride on the bank of the river tiber

Cooling down on the river

we decided to do the river cruise, and were given our tickets which last 24 hours, so you can continue to use the "hop on/hop off" benefit even after taking the cruise. You are given ear phones when you get on which you can plug...More

Quite Good

I believe we used the wrong service as the boat we were on was very small and it only went a little way down the river before turning round and going back. The whole trip lasted about 50 mins and we did not get to...More
