The Vatican Museum, home to Raphael’s Rooms and the world-famous Sistine Chapel, is one of Italy’s most popular attractions: the crowds it attracts pay testament to its popularity. Explore Renaissance masterpieces at your leisure on this exclusive VIP tour, which avoids the crowds by bypassing the beginning queues. You’ll be free to take in the incredible wall paintings without spending hours in line.

What to Expect

In Vatican City, get ready to pass by the crowds outside the museum with VIP admission tickets. You’ll bypass the beginning queues. Once inside, you’ll have lots of time to explore nine miles (14km) of art-filled galleries.

Savor masterpieces in rooms like the Gallery of the Candelabra, which is lined with elegantly carved marble sculptures and candle-holders. You’ll also be free to wander at leisure through Raphael’s Rooms, four interconnecting galleries that are hung with paintings from the famous Renaissance master and his pupils. Enrich your knowledge of Italian geography in the Gallery of Maps, where you’ll find 16th-century plans of Italy.

The best is saved for last. The final part of the museum complex is the blockbuster Sistine Chapel, which most people wait in line for hours to see. With special access to the museum, you’ll skip to the front of the crowds to see the legendary 15th-century chapel. With an optional upgrade, you can opt to explore the galleries with a guide.

Very impressive

Skip the Line Vatican Museum Tour

The ability to skip the line was great and saved queuing. The representative took us straight through to the museum. His knowledge of the process wasn't great however. The museum itself is amazing especially the Sistine Chapel. A true work wonder if a bit overcrowded...More

Ah, Maria!

We generally avoid tour operations but this was highly recommended and rightly so. Especially lucked out with our guide Maria who paced 3 hour Vatican overview perfectly and was knowledgeable and an extremely fine communicator. Wonderful morning in beautiful place. Well done!

A short cut to long queues

I understand that the Vatican is a must see place in Rome but i wouldn't be going back on any future trip. There were far too many people both queuing outside to get in and inside to see the artefacts and points of interest. Some...More

We took the 3 hour tour and St Peter's dome or climb was a separate line and fee. The catacombs were also not part of the 3 hour tour. Our tour was the museum, the chapel and St Peter's.
