Your early morning experience of the Vatican begins outside of the landmark, where you’ll greet your guide and head straight inside a full hour and 30 minutes before it opens to the general public.

As you head to the Sistine Chapel, your guide provides some historical context. You'll then enjoy the space in a crowd-free environment, allowing you to gaze up at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes without interruption. Admire Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling fresco, The Creation of Adam, and The Last Judgment, in a serene environment.

Once your time in the Sistine Chapel concludes, you’ll be free to continue exploring the Vatican Museum at your leisure. Among the highlights are the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries and Raphael’s Rooms, plus classical statues, Etruscan artifacts, and plenty of Renaissance paintings.

Great Experience- worth the money

Went straight to the front and into the Sistine chapel before anyone else and was organised well and split into small groups. Worth the money if you want to see it without the mass of people and seeing all the museum at your own pace

Glorious Sistine Chapel

The experience was exactly as advertised. We checked in and were organized into small groups and taken into the Vatican museum. We had no problem finding the tour operator. Our guide walked us through the museum while explaining a number of exhibits that we passed....More

100% worth it!

Do it! This made the Sistine Chapel much more enjoyable...fewer than 100 people in the chapel, a lovely tour guide, a pamphlet that explained the chapel....even if you have to get up early!
