    What to Expect
Segovia is an amazing town. It is unbelievable that such a small city could have 3 monuments that, any of them would be worth to be visited alone. It has been considered a city world heritage.

First. The Roman Aqueduct. A work from 2000 years ago that still stands as the first day. We are happy if a visitor tells us he does not have a concrete image of what he is going to find. He is the one to enjoy more in the tour. It allows us to act as if we were like David Copperfield making our visitors to have an impresion that maybe they will never forget in the rest of their lives.

We consider the building of the Aqueduct 2000 years ago a more impresive work that what man did in 1969 getting to the Moon. We try to make our visitors see how the ancient inhabitants of that area would feel when they saw that the Romans were building that authentic jewel.

And you get into this town crossing those arches and meet a town out of a dream. Much of it dedicated to being visited on foot in which each stone oozes history. Spain and Segovia are the unrepeatable consequence of their peculiar history, with influences of all those who passed  through these lands. Ancient Iberians, Romans, Visigoths, Arabs, Jews, French. They all left their mark there. And we, Spaniards are very proud about it.

After having visited the Aqueduct you might think that there is nothing more to see but when you come across the Cathedral you find it unique. You see it during the day, at night, on the  outside, inside. And no matter how you look at, you fall in love with it.

But there is even more. There is an amazing castle, the Alcazar. It is so formidable that Walt Disney himself was inspired to design the Castle that appears in Snow White and 7 Dwarfs. In few words a fairy tale Castle.

Well. We see all that after having visited a fantastic winery in an area that is considered has some of the best wines of Spain. There we will taste its wines. Then we have lunch. We have the challenge that the winery and lunch have to be at the same level as Segovia. (Lunch 25 euros additional aprox)

Wine will also be with us during our visit to Segovia. We strongly believe that everything is much nicer with a glass of wine in hand.

Why should you come with us to this tour? Because of Segovia? The winery? Wines? Lunch? A combination of all that. One thing we know is that we are going to make our best to make you have an unforgettable experience. That is what we have been doing for years and that is what we are going to be doing in our next tour. Come with us.

My girlfriend’s family and I visited Madrid last March, and we wanted to get a view of one of the old towns nearby and visit a winery. Giving a taste of both, the Winebus’ Segovia package did the trick. When we met up with Ignacio, he provided a detailed itinerary of everything

My husband and I were spending Christmas in Madrid and I found this tour which combined a trip to Segovia with wine tasting at a fantastic winery. We met Ignacio at the designated place and learned that we were the only ones on this tour so it would be basically a private tour.

Ignacio was so organized we never had to think for a minute all day, we just got to relax & enjoy the sights! Segovia is gorgeous, well worth the trip outside of Madrid, and the wines of the region were very fun to taste! Overall Ignacio was a fantastic guide ... friendly,

Ignacio was a great guide for the day and very knowledgeable about the history of the area and Spain. We visited two wineries, had a restaurant lunch and then did a small tour of Segovia that included the aqueduct, cathedral and castle. While we enjoyed seeing Segovia, we were

Thank you very much for your comment. We are doing this activity since 6 years and our best prize is to get full satisfaction from our clients and when we do not get it we are not happy. But we know we learn much more from the comments in which our clients are not fully satisfied of the experience. Some (very little) amount of our clients do not get satisfied and this is your case. And we are very sad about it. Your argument of not being very happy with the tour is for several reasons. And as other people can read that, we feel that we have to answer to that. I will try to be not very boring. You say that it was not a formal visit to the first winery. The second winery was ok. The restaurant was ok. The tour was expensive. Segovia was good On the first winery there was not a formal visit to a winery. It was just a wine in the restaurant of a winery in which no one of the staff would tell you something about the visit. I think it is important you read again what we promised when we take the people to “Segovia with a glass o fine in hand” We say word by word… ””Live an unforgettable experience visiting the amazing town of Segovia and its three most important monuments: the Aqueduct, the Cathedral and the Alcazar. We previously visit a winery with very good wines and have lunch in a very good restaurant”””. We just promise to visit one winery, And we visited in your case 2. The first in an unformal visit, And the second, one of the most beautiful winery of the whole Ribera del Duero in our oppinion. If you wanted more wineries we have the tour called “Ribera del Duero Wine tour” in which we visit at least 2 wineries. The tour you booked the star of the tour was “Segovia” and in 10 hours we do our best to make you have a wonderful day. It is not 100% a wine tour but a combined tour of a wine tour and a good lunch and the visit to an impresive town as Segovia is. The time scheduled for the winery ( the second winery) was at 12,30 h. In order to have you with nice activities all the time we took you first to this winery (Bodegas Portia) that is 10 minutes from the second. We could have gone to a bar to have a wine in a bar but we thought it was better to bring you to this magnificent winery that has been designed by the famous architect Mr Norman Foster. This man is so well known all over the world that they even have made a movie about his work that says “How much do your buildings weight Mr Foster?”. This winery is amazing. Have a look at its website. http://www.bodegasportia.com/ For us it is an unforgettable winery. But you are right. It was an unformal visit. An unformal visit that was not on the program. We consider that a plus to the tour and not a problem of the tour. The second winery we visited I would say it is one the most beautiful winery of the whole Ribera del Duero. But this is our oppinion. And the oppinion of many of our clients. They said that they were very impressed by the visit to that winery. In the tour you booked the important thing is the visit to Segovia that you said you enjoyed and we are happy to hear you saying that. We try to end the visit to Segovia, with a glass of wine in hand but I am not sure if we did it in your case because we were a little late arriving to Madrid and we had decided that in your case we were bringing you to your Airbnb address. You also say we went to a restaurant that was ok. This specific restaurant is considered one of the best restaurants of the whole Ribera del Duero. It costed 25 euros per person. The tour was a little expensive. You knew the prices before coming. You have a lot of alternatives to do in Madrid. We do not understand why you chose our activity if you find it a little expensive. You said that it was nice we took you to your Airbnb place, The tours normally end at 20 h And we did not go to your place once but twice because you forgot something in the car and you called us 5/10 minutes later to go again to your place. And we did it. And we ended maybe at 21 h. As a summary. We can not warrant that 100% of the people are going to enjoy an unforgettable experience. But what we do is that we put our 5 senses to make the people enjoy an unforgettable tour. I think it is important that people read slowly what they are going to find and what not, in order to find what they are looking for. And in your case we are sad because we think we did not succeed. I wish you had a beautiful experience on the rest of your time in Spain. Regards,
