Overview
Stray from the beaten path and explore Madrid’s atmospheric Literary Quarter on a 3.5-hour food tour.  Perfect for lovers of culture and cuisine, this tour covers the scenic Huelvas district — home to tree-lined boulevards, street vendors, and homes belonging to Spanish literary greats — and includes more than 15 tastings. Enjoy a breakfast of churros and chocolate, sample olives, Iberian ham, and cheese, and drink draft beer in a fashionable tapas bar. Small-group tour limited to 12 people.
What to Expect

Greet your guide at 10am at Plaza Santa Ana, beside the statue of Calderón de la Barca. Once all of your small group has assembled, you’ll begin the tour with an indulgent breakfast of churros and chocolate at a local chocolateria.

Then, weave your way down tree-lined cobblestone streets to a traditional Spanish market, where you’ll sample Iberian cured ham and olives straight from the stalls.

Continue into the Literary Quarter to a delicatessen whose history is as rich as its cheese and wine. Sample the aforementioned and then head to a fashionable tapas bar for open sandwiches and refreshing draft beer.

The itinerary can vary according to season, however at least four beverages and 15 food samples are guaranteed. Your tour concludes at your final food location at around 2pm.

Great Food and Market Tour

Fantastic tour with an amazing guide - Arantxa. We spent 3-4 hours around the Literary Quarter going to places like locals! Eating Churros and chocolate for breakfast- who wouldn't love that! And it just got better and better! Highly recommended!
