Early Access to Royal Palace of Madrid

Overview

The Royal Palace of Madrid is a must-visit for any sightseer, but the long queues and throngs of visitors can be off-putting. Beat the crowds and enjoy early access to get intimate looks at the site’s many splendid features. Tour the Royal Armory, Royal Pharmacy, and the Throne Room, and take a morning stroll in the Campo del Moro, while learning more about the palace’s royal history from your guide.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and group at the Royal Palace of Madrid, before it opens to the general public. Marvel at the royal residence’s grand facade, before strolling straight in.

View the Grand Staircase and notice the designer’s elegant use of mahogany and marble. Listen as your guide provides insight into the palace’s history, as you stroll past frescoes painted by Spain’s renowned artists.

Explore the Royal Armory’s range of weaponry and then visit the Royal Pharmacy, gaining insight into the history of medicine, before admiring the magnificent Throne Room. Afterward, enjoy a morning stroll through Campo del Moro, taking in the garden’s English and Moorish influences. Then relax by “the Tritons” and “Palacio de las Conchas” fountains, both located on the grounds.

Conclude your tour back at your initial meeting point, and enjoy a full day ahead to explore the rest of Madrid.
