La Boqueria Market and Cooking Class in Barcelona
If you love Spanish cuisine, then this experience was made for you: Ppt for a hands-on approach to Catalan culinary delights during a tour of La Boqueria Market, a cooking class, and 12-course tapas tasting experience. A professional chef shares insider knowledge of Spanish cooking techniques and you’ll get to enjoy dinner with unlimited drinks—a pleasure not commonly afforded on cooking tours.
What to Expect

Your culinary adventure begins at a central meeting point in Barcelona. Here, you’ll greet your guide and set off toward La Boqueria Market, a commercial hub selling fresh Spanish produce. Learn about the history and social significance of Catalan food from your guide before heading to a local kitchen for a cooking class.

Under the guidance of a professional chef, you’ll master the art of Spanish dishes such as Spanish omelets, seafood paella, and mussels. Then, sit down to feast on a 12-course tapas menu accompanied by unlimited wine and beer. Dine on dishes such as croquettes, manchego cheese, Iberian cold cuts, patatas bravas (potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce), and other Catalan staples.

Exceeded all our expectations

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the hosts, the tour, the cooking and the fellow students. What a fabulous way to experience Barcelona culture, food and people. Jenelle and Alfredo were a treat, even with their polite, timely cooking instructions. Bravo!

Although I have loved and cooked Spanish food for years, this class taught me technique to improve my execution of tortilla española and paella. Janella was engaging and patient, as well as cheerful when she had to step up from sous-chef to chef. My daughter...More

Check it all out at Just Royal Bcn. I think we met right at the building on Plaça Reial. Then did a shopping trip at la Boquería, which is sensory overload in a good way.
