Overview
South Gran Canaria’s clear seas and abundance of marine life make it a scuba-diving hot spot. This half-day package lets you pre-book your beginner’s diving experience on a day and time that suits your schedule. The tour includes a boat dive—something many diver courses don’t. Safely learn diving basics, then enjoy an unforgettable underwater adventure.
What to Expect
Book your day and time, then travel independently to the Puerto Rico dive center for a safety briefing from a PADI instructor.

Get acquainted with the scuba equipment and learn about procedures such as how to communicate underwater. Then, don your scuba gear and head to the shallow water area. Practice breathing under the surface and learn other key skills in preparation for your boat dive.

Board the boat at the harbor and cruise to one of Gran Canaria´s premier diving spots. Then, with your instructor close by, make your introductory dive. Enjoy the sensation of breathing underwater and waft over the seabed, watching the marine life as you go.

Lastly, return by boat to the diving center and receive your diving certificate. If you wish, learn how your introductory session can serve as a first step towards PADI certification.

Your experience ends when you leave the center.
