      Packed with information and sights
We visited so much during some 8 hours. The guide, Stefan, was highly professional and informative. I didn't expect much from any of the places, but got so much, especially in Gernika, which is such a wonderful place, after such horrible events that happened there during history. I also loved Bermeo, with its colorful houses.

Lovely day trip to La Rioja wineries.
Loved this tour which compared with other day tours in the region was cheap! The experience is not. Haro and Laguardia are charming and the wineries chosen both interesting. Tastings were paired with cheese and charcuterie. Our guide Estaphan was informative and entertaining, and kept us in line. Although we were on a large coach the drive was comfortable with good seating and a/c. The experience left us hungry (and thirsty) for more of la Rioja. Highly recommended.

      Poor communication
Poor communication. Sold me a tour through email and then unilaterally switched mode of communication to something else called GYG, a messaging system within Viator/TripAdvisor, without saying a word about the switch in an email or on the ticket. The ticket says nothing about a start time other than the museum’s hours of operation. Neither the ticket nor any email says anything about checking for messages on GYG. No voicemail or text either (the call from an unknown number at the last minute with no message did not help). Thus, the tour was set at a time of the operator’s choosing with no effective notice to us. They then refused to issue a refund.

      Long but worth it!
Really nice long tour. The price is very fair for what you get. The schedule was tight, that would be the only feedback. Maybe some more time in Biarritz. However, you see a lot of places. All and all, happy we did it!

      Great "wet the appetite" tour
It was a beautiful tour. In my opinion San Juan de Luz was the best place. It was a shame we didn't stop there longer for lunch rather than San Sebastian, which was cooked with tourists. The views from the mountain of the bay at San Sebastian were an added highlight. Well worth visiting longer than a few hours but this trip wets the appetite. I recommend the cheesecake in San Sebastian and the ice- cream down by the beach. For those with a sweet-tooth.

Josh and Bob were fab thanks guys
Our tour guides Josh and Bob were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed a VIP trip as the only couple booked on this tour today. I felt the free time to explore was enough. Loved the photo bit it had beautiful scenery

      Excellent day out
Excellent day out with Stephane, a knowledgable and articulate tour guide, clearly proud of his Basque heritage. We walked the historic quarter of Vitoria Gateiz and learned of Napoleonic times followed by, in our case, coffee and pintxos. We then visited Laguardia and learned of the origin of the tunnels where wine is stored, followed by a bodega visit and wine tasting. We were given a recommentation for lunch where my wife rated the pintxos the best she had tasted (see photos). All in all this was a very enjoyable tour and very good value.

      Basque Country excursion
We visited with our kids (17 & 21, so not really kids…) and had a good experience. Most of the tour attendees were Spanish speakers, but Sonja our guide was very good about giving the information in both languages. I never felt we were getting an abridged version. Vitoria was a beautiful stop and the salt flats were fascinating. The last stop in Getxo was fine, nothing particularly great. The lunch in a converted monastery was delicious, and a nice way to break up the day. I would recommend it as a good way to cover a lot of country easily and quickly.

      Great tour guide!
Stefano was a great tour guide! I would really recommend this trip, particularly if you are interested in learning more about the Basque region, its uniqueness and cultural origins.

Beautiful cities BUT tour not as described so very disappointing.
Beautiful cities to visit and great transportation in a mini-van with a small group. Unfortunately the tour was not as described on TripAdvisor. There were no guided tour and we were left to wander the cities by ourselves. The order of the visits were completely reversed and the boat cruise portion was complete ABSENT from the tour. The tour also ended one full hour ahead of time. Therefore, we really didn’t get the full tour that what we paid for so it was very disappointing.

      A great day out!
I had a great time, it's a good opportunity to get out of Bilbao and San Sebastian and see some of the Basque countryside. I went with my wife who was pregnant and the tour was very suitable for her. The lunch was delicious and the salt beds were a great experience.

      Enjoyable day excursion
We loved the walk to the church. Great exercise, stupendous views. On the way back we had time for delicious snacks and coffee near the parking lot. The next stop was a fishing village. The walk out to the end of the pier and back took us the entire time allotted. I think this was because some on the tour were late getting back to the bus which put us behind schedule. Be considerate folks! We could have also enjoyed a glass of wine/beer/coffee with views of the coast but we love to walk. It was nice to have options. The last stop -Gernika was very touching. The guide walked us through the town and shared some history. Would recommend this low touch tour.

      Great teaser
It is a nice trip through Basque country, that included Spanish and French towns. It also allowed to see country side. The guide Pascu was entertaining and knowledgeable. The views were great, but unfortunately we didn't have much time in each place. A little bit more time in San Sebastian. But like our guide said, this tour is just a teaser, to hook us up on the beauty of the region.

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we had a marvelous day and the weather did not impede our experience. We were the only 2 English speakers on our tour; our guide, Unia, made sure we received all the information. He had wonderful insights for everything. He made it enjoyable and educational.

Our guide was good and shared bilingual Spanish and English. We had a predominate Spanish speaking group , so there are still dynamics you must absorb in being the minority , but he did a good job of managing it. He even tried to get 4 English speaking people on the tour to sit in front of the bus to avoid having the microphone on for both translations, but people who had entered the bus anchored those seats and would not move when requested. Our point. Wing he managed the situation very well and a were made to be welcome . I would do this tour again . Might consider San Sebastián on a day other than Saturday as the locals had many of the restaurants covered. But we worked through that too.

Covadonga is certainly worth a visit. The basilica there was built in honour of St Ignatious Loyola. The basilica itself is well worth a visit but so is the tiny chapel in the rock along with other buildings. There is a large car park too. You can spend several hours there, there are toilets and a little Café. It is an impressively built place. We went on a fine day, it's high up in the Picos de Europe.

Loyola was special and we may not have got there without going on this tour. We also loved Getaria. The driver and guide (Stefan) were magnificent. The commentary in English was very good and Stefan’s passion for his country was awesome. This was our first bus tour as such and it was a great experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Loyola, Getaria and San Sebastian. The countryside of the Basque Country is very beautiful with stunning landscapes and architecture. Given a chance, I would love to visit San Sebastian again.

With this tour, a one-day overview of some highlights in the region is provided with a nice team: guide and driver. The guide Stephan did know a lot, and was very interested and motivated. The organisation was excellent, as well as the English explanation.

I only advice the driver to turn the airco in the bus lower, it was blowing such a cold wind that it was to become sick when entering the warm weather outside.

Our guide Sergei was inspirational in his knowledge of the Basque area and gave us a full history into the Jesuit movement which was started by its founder.
We then went on via the coastal route to San Sebastian.
