I am a music buff, not so much a dance fan but I decided. to check out flamenco during my week in Seville. I ended up going to Los Gallos 5 times! In an intimate theatre in the old town, this club reminded me the best blues clubs in Chicagoanin the old days. No hype, to viral effects, no swag for sale, just a troupe of 3-4 dancers every night and 4-5 musicians doing extraordinary dance and music. The "crowd" was no more than 30 on any of the nights and it seemed that some of them were musicians or dancers here to watch there friends. The guitar player, Rafael, was great, and one patron said he is considered one of the very best flamenco guitar players in the city. The show changes very night and could have gone on longer to my taste. Terrific club, nice staff, over the top music. FYI I was talking in a shop to another club owner who pitched me on his club,,I told him I knew where I was going, He asked where. I said Los Gallos. He said, "Wow, I have nothing bad to say about them... You will enjoy.":)

We all know that these shows are for the tourists, but this one is very impressive. It’s a small venue so you are close to the stage and you really see the superb artistry of the dancers and the quality of the musicians. The show only lasts an hour and a quarter, but it’s not surprising as the dancers seem to give everything every time they are on the stage. Venue is in the Jewish Quarter and does table service for drinks. We had actually done a flamenco lesson earlier in the day ( we were not good, but unlike the dancers we had only done one hour and not everyday since they were six years old!) and it helped in understanding what was happening and see the quality of the show.

Great performance! Wonderful music and dancing. No tourist gimmicks. Space is a little tight, but wasn’t that busy on a Monday for the late show. Drinks were generous.

Most or the show was guitar playing and very ordinary singing. Whilst the one female dancer and two male dancers were good, the show was poor. Each did one individual routine and the show was padded with singing. Not impressed. One person even walked out. And certainly don’t order drinks. They had the hide to charge 5 € for the horse piss they called wine. Some would call it theft. There are better shows in Seville and cheaper shows in Seville. Either way don’t chose this one.

Great atmosphere, music and dancing.. Able to enjoy traditional flamenco guitar, singing and dancing a relaxed environment. Sangria and other drinks available.

High quality Flamenco performers. I enjoyed the fact that they had two guitarists. Both high quality. The dancers and singers were also quite remarkable. The setting is intimate, but the seating a bit tight. You can order drinks, but no food.

There are probably many such shows in Seville, but I can't imagine many better than this. A small, intimate but charming venue staffed by very helpful people. Despite a small audience when we were there, the music, singing and dancing were just superb ... go and see this show!

Incredible. It was such a nice authentic experience: true flamenco at its best. We had a couple of drinks; dancers and singers were spectacular.

We knew we had to experience flamenco in Sevilla, and had the good fortune to be steered to Los Gallos, where we literally had front row seats for an exciting series of performances. The cantaores and bailaoras/es were fantastic...a great introduction to the beautiful, dramatic and sensuous art of flamenco.

Tablao Flamenco Los Gallos, at Pl. de Sta Cruz, 11, 41004 Sevilla, Is a ‘must see’ event for visitors to Seville. Proving two shows most nights (20.00-21.30, and 22.00-23.30), the entry price gives you the show and one included drink. The night we went, there were four dancers (three women and one man), three male guitarists, and three male singers. While waiting for the show to start, a video was screening that explained some of the variety of flamenco forms which was educational for me. The show itself was absolutely riveting. Several different styles of flamenco were performed, as well as some amazing guitar solo work. Venue holds about 70 fairly tightly packed people, and you go here purely for the performance. Unforgettable.

Amazing experience. Well worth the visit. Don’t leave Sevilla without coming here. Dancers were amazing. Guitarist amazing. People very friendly.

What an extraordinary show! One and a half hours of electric energy and passion from the dancers and musicians. Small theatre so the acoustics are great but seats are tightly packed. Go early to have pick of your seats. €35 ticket includes a drink. There’s a 15 minute presentation on the different types of dances before the performance starts. No photography of performance is allowed.
