Donana National Park and El Rocío: 4x4 Guided Tour from Seville

Overview
Visit Doñana National Park by 4x4 on a 10-hour tour from Seville, and spend the day exploring the marshes, forests, and dunes of a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Watch for wildlife in an area that's home to hundreds of species of birds, visit the village of El Rocío, and explore Spain’s largest dune system. This full-day tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, all transport, and a guided walking tour of Doñana National Park.
What to Expect
Start the day with 7am pickup at your hotel in Seville, then travel to the town of Coria del Rio to visit the northerly marshes of Doñana National Park along the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Roughly 300 species of bird have been sighted in this area's marshes, pine forests, and pastures, and the nearby rice fields shelter Europe’s largest colony of white storks.
Keep driving into the park's northernmost area on your way to El Rocío, where you’ll tour the village's chapel and an ornithologist observatory that's perfect for spotting more birdlife. Stretch your legs on a walk along the Doñana National Park trails near the La Rocina stream.
Take a break for lunch (own expense), then head to the beach to learn about the largest dune ecosystem in Spain. As you travel back through the park on the way to Seville, you’ll catch a sunset in the Asperillo pine forest. This full-day tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel in Seville.

It was nice to get out of the city of Seville and see a variety of countryside and wildlife. It was special to see the water birds that we had seen in Africa. The marsh is a major migratory route. We saw many storks, flamingo,...More

A very memorable day

I will say at the start that I am a wildlife enthusiast. I could happily have stayed at the first lake we visited and watched the storks, egrets and herons all day. I had never seen a Squacco heron before. Our guide on this day trip...More

We went with Abraham the guide, and there were two other people on outlet trip. We were picked up in an old 4x4 which unfortunately broke down en route, but the company soon turned up with another car so we could continue our trip! We...More

Not very fit, there’s a bit of walking over the Dune’s which is a bit up and down but it’s not too bad.
