Malaga Tapas Walking Tour
US$67.83
Overview
A DIY tour of Malaga’s cuisine may mean missing out on certain dishes and interesting food spots. This small-group tour provides an accurate take on local gastronomy, old and new, with a guide for insight. Visit different establishments to sample specialties, such as local-style olives, ham, and wines; uncover their history and recipes; and gain insider tips on eateries to try later. Tastings and drinks are included.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Malaga and begin your walking tour of the city’s interesting food spots. Delve into the streets filled with cafes, tapas bars, and food shops, and learn about local cuisine and traditions from your “food Sherpa” guide.

In between walking and talking, visit various food spots and enjoy seven tastings, as your guide explains their ingredients and place in Malaga’s thriving culinary culture. Interact with shopkeepers and meet a chef who’s busy remodeling classic dishes into innovative creations. Plus, visit Atarazanas Market and one of Malaga's history-steeped "ultramarinos" grocery-tavern combos.

Samples may vary but dishes may include local-style marinated olives, Iberico ham (jambon), figs, fried fish, artisanal wines, and handmade spreads for breads. Wash down your tastings with four drinks—your choice of red or white wine, beer, or soda.

Your tour finishes in central Malaga.

I booked on this tour because I am confused by Tapas, how to order, how they are priced and what is good to order. I was looking for something beyond Patatas bravas, and this tour met all my expectations. We met Javi, our guide at...More

My husband and I truly enjoyed our food tour in Malaga with Spain food Sherpas. Our guide was Felipe. This was much more than a food tour. Felipe showed a deep knowledge of the history of the city and for three hours walked with us...More
