Overview

With so much great food in East Berlin, it can be difficult to choose the best places to eat. This walking tour lets you try a variety of dishes, without the need for extensive research. Try staples like currywurst, flammenkuchen, and Turkish sweets. You’ll learn about Berlin’s history and see famous landmarks along the way, and because it's a small-group tour, you can ask plenty of questions.

What to Expect
Begin your culinary adventure by meeting your guide and heading to the RAW's market. You’ll learn about the history of the area and then stop at one of its kebab shops. Discover why the city is home to so many artists as you pass intricate street art and East Berlin’s popular galleries.

You’ll taste flammenkuchen, a pizzalike tart; stop at a boutique bakery for some treats; and sample currywurst, a German favorite. Then enjoy a Turkish sweet while learning about Berlin’s Turkish community. Throughout the trip, listen to important historical commentary from your guide.

Your day ends at the East Side Gallery, where you’ll see a remaining section of the Berlin Wall and try one last food sample.

The tour started with a bottle of rhubarb soda, which was wonderful, and the tour continued at that level. Many great foods. But what was extra special were the sights and stories of a part of East Berlin I never would have experienced. Our tour...More

No idea, I would imagine that you can then opt for a soft drink. Email the organisers and ask them
