Full-Day Small-Group Provence Wine Tour from Nice
From US$208.24
Overview
Wine tasting is a quintessential activity for visitors to Provence and opting for a small-group tour means you’ll enjoy a more personalized experience. Visit three Provence wineries on this full-day tasting tour from Nice and sample an array of wines, including the region’s renowned rosés, as well as enjoying a delicious 2-course lunch.
What to Expect
Your trip out to Provence's main area for top vineyards will be around an hour each way. Your expert English speaking guide will discuss the region and its vineyards on the way so that any questions you might have can be answered even before you arrive at the first vineyard.

Visit the cellars of 2 wineries (and have a tasting at a 3rd) during the day, meet the local guides or owners and taste a variety of wines, mainly rosés as that is the specialty. Apart from the noteworthy rosés that come in all funny shapes of bottles, there will be a few whites and reds as well.

Lunch will be a typical French one in a local countryside Bistrot consisting of 2 courses and more wine to enjoy the meal with.

During this enjoyable day out in the beautiful countryside of Provence, you will learn about the vineyards, the varieties used and techniques in growing, you'll learn about the various wine making methods, hear the history of the castles and the general areas.

A wonderful day

Excellent day attending three vineyards- white, rosé and red sampled as each. Frank our tour guide was amazing, a winemaker himself- very knowledgeable. Exceptional lunch in a small village- beautiful restaurant with wine to be drank here too. Worth the money!

A great tour

Rob our guide is absolutely knowledgeable about wines and about this region. The tour is full of tastings across three great vineyards, each with its distinct characteristics and generous pours ... the lunch was very nice too and everyone enjoyed it very much.

It is a lovely, all-day tour. I went in the Spring 2017 - I can't remember when we left Nice and came back, but I would plan for the day (8 hours). There were 4 of us plus the tour guide in a van. We hit 3 great wineries... More
