Absolutely terrible. They will steal you money. They do little to nothing to help. Purchased data and it never worked. Kept contacting them for 2 weeks and nothing. Don't waste your time or money.

I had used this company before in Japan in 2019 and had good service. In Ireland I used this and the portable wifi was fair; the unit that was supposed to be at the airport was not there and I got someone else return device which was an extra. When I tried to use in Athens, the device did not work. I tried several times to reboot and reconnect under the directions of the Service using email. I could not use it for over 80% of the days. The other days were spent trying to reset it and it would work for maybe an hour and then stop working. When I asked for a refund they kept the shipping fees and only refunded the days which were unused. I lost a significant amount of money on a useless product.

We rented a pocket WiFi from TravelWiFi in Zurich Airport. That device worked only in their store. Never in a different place. We returned it after just two days and asked for a refund. They gave us the refund but took it back after 3 weeks.

Don’t use - service never works paid for plans randomly disappear from your account as devices don’t work. Big scam. Avoid! Use airlo instead!

I purchased a Europe sapphire 3 and a 40gb Europe data plan for a trip to Greece. The device powered on upon landing in Greece but we didn't get service. I spent the next 1.5 days emailing with customer service who kept telling me they were working on a fix. They finally admitted there was no fix and switched to saying they had a Europe wide network issue. They refunded my service plan but refuse to refund the device. They want me to take the device back to my home country and continue to troubleshoot. I explained that I purchased the device to use on Europe, and it doesn't work, and I can't understand why they would make me keep a device that doesn't work as promised. I would recommend avoiding this company

I recently bought a travelwifi data for my England trip but unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. Despite paying for data in advance, I never received internet service throughout my entire trip. This left me stranded in a foreign country without access to maps, communication apps, or even basic information. I tried contacting customer support for few days, but did not resolve the issues and every time called them took hours. It was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially considering I had relied on this service to stay connected during my travels. I would strongly advise against using travelwifi, as their lack of reliability service ruined my trip experience.

If you know your departure date a few days in advance, xoxowifi.com is a better option. As far as Europe is concerned it worked much better than travelwifi.

Service performs as advertised -- very good portable wifi connection. Staff were excellent. Explained the device clearly and how to return it when finished. They even helped me with an issue with Google maps that had nothing to do with my wifi connection. They were genuinely helpful.

I rented the Sapphire Travel Wifi for my recent trip to London and Paris. Upon arriving, it worked for maybe 2 hours, then stopped working. I figured maybe the battery was dead, so I charged it for a few hours, but it didn't work. I spoke to their customer service, who said I should charge it overnight. I left it charged overnight, but it still didn't work. Unfortunately they had no other solutions for me and that it might be the device itself. For the rest of my trip, I had to pay my cell phone service a daily charge to use roaming, which was very expensive. Travelwifi asked me to ship it back and they'll refund me once they receive it. I returned their device over a month ago, and I still have not received my refund even after multiple attempts to contact them. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

Arrived in Dublin, no device, repeated attempts went unanswered, they charged my account, save yourself the bother and frustration, this company is a SCAM do not order from them

Arrived in Paris, got to my hotel where the device was waiting for me. Connection was pretty smooth - takes about 3 minutes to find netwrok but once it has the speed is fast. The travelwifi team in the office were very helpful giving me some good tips where to viisit. All in all a great experience. I will definietly use this again on my travels!

I have used travel wifi twice previously and was satisfied, however this most recent experience should be shared as a warning. I rented two units for travel in Europe. They are the new units. Problems: 1. Only one unit was sent so I had to make an extra trip to pick up the second unit. 2. One of the units worked although was very slow to connect (15-20 minutes). The other unit would rarely connect to the internet. 80% of the time it provided no internet access. (We checked every time to ensure that it wasn't a reception issue as the other unit was transmitting data.) 3. Despite daily emails, phone calls and attempted contacts through their website, problems were never resolved. My first emails were "never received" when I called, but 5 days later I received a reply. 4. Customer service would not give any information regarding return, refund, replacement, or anything useful. 5. Customer service stated they would have management contact me, which never happened. 6. Because we had given up on the second unit entirely, it was turned off. I received only those days in refund but not for any of the other days. In conclusion, as long as you don't mind paying for a pocket wifi that you are not relying on, and have no need for problem resolution, then absolutely use Travel Wifi.
