My daughter and I really enjoyed our food tour in the Montmartre area of Paris. The food was delicious but we also enjoyed hearing about the area and seeing all the sights. The food was very authentic French food, from all the different specialty shops and it was exactly what we were interested in learning about. We enjoyed the smaller group size and also really enjoyed our guide and the stories he shared. I would definitely recommend Secret Food Tours!

Not only enjoyed the food tasting but also the guide’s knowledge of the area. The walking tour provided glimpses of sites that would have been missed.

A day filled with delicious tastings and tidbits of French history and current culture. Matthew was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating in every way. We walked 3 miles home in order to have room to breathe again

This tour was amazing! You definitely want to make sure you come hungry and not have any dinner plans afterwards. Our tour guide Mathis was amazing and very well educated on all the stuff we tasted! You get to meet some new people as well!

The food tour was delish!!!!!! Lena was greatttttt!!!!!! Tots recommended!!!!!!! The walking was fun, the town was beautiful, and the cheese was to DIE for!! This tour is the best thing to do if your new to Paris or not.

in a word…Sensational!! what a totally immersive four hour food tour! Our guide, Matthew was the most hospitable, good natured guide and a power of intellect with stories of food, history and everything to bridge the two. His friendly banter was easy on the ear and he made the entire group feel cohesive and friendly. We walked and listened to many great stories about all the different foods and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner over the tour, washed down with generous pours of lovely wines. The focus is on food, not walking, the pace is sedate, unhurried, it’s perfect!! Arrive hungry and you will not be disappointed, delicious top quality quintessentially French foods, generous in portions and full in flavours. This was truly a great tour and don’t go past it as you will learn much about all the best places to drink coffee and get the very best cheeses, pastries and French foods. Superb!!

Wonderful Tour. Matthew is so informative, enthusiastic and loves French food. He made the four hours go by so quickly. We learned so much about the history of the Notre Dame, area and food. We absolutely recommend this tour!! Five stars absolutely.

Went on a fantastic chocolate and pastry tour through Montmartre with Aicha. We enjoyed the finest macarons, chocolates, creme pastries, crepes, and madeleines while Aicha shared history of the area and the desserts. Aicha was insightful and funny and the desserts truly exceptional. Can't wait to take another tour with her.

I am Italian and I believe I know a thing or two about food and wine so I was a bit sceptical at the beginning of the tour. I have to say I learned a lot about French food (especially about the origin of iconic staples like croissants, macarons, etc.). The part I enjoyed the most, though, was when Matthew, our guide, took us to a little square where all the best bakeries/cheesemongers/wine shops are. We had the opportunity to explore the shops (that are actually full of French people, not tourists) and bought some of the delicacies we had for lunch at the end of the tour. Do not be fooled by his name, Matthew grew up in France and if it wasn't for his lovely English accent he would be your typical French man who knows it all when it comes to food & wine! Super recommended!!!

We have gone on a number of Secret Food Tours and this one was right at the top. Our guide, Ingrid, was personable, knowledgeable, and all around terrific! She shared so much information about the Marais and the food that we sampled! The menu was filled with a variety of wonderful treats! It was a terrific day which we will remember fondly.
