My calls and texts don’t go through ever and I get loads of random spam calls from France which is weird because I haven’t submitted my number anywhere… The instructions sent to me were all in French so I had to put them through a translator. But for the most it’s cheap and it has allow me to connect to the Internet in every country I’ve been mostly without issue which is what I wanted. (Munich, Germany was a bit funky)

If you're willing to just keep spending 20 Euros every time something goes wrong, then these SIM cards are fine... good luck ever getting help from Orange if you do have a problem. I once got a reply weeks later after I had returned from my trip. We've never managed to get the voice calling to work on iPhone, only on Android for some reason, so we just stick to using data services.

Also, never once has the top-up feature worked, which after trying several times over several days, I'm certain must be Orange's way of forcing you to just buy a new SIM instead.

Honestly, I can't give esim orange a star. I purchased av28 day esim card while traveling in the UK. Spain and Portugal. The service in the UK was intermittent, data worked at times and never was able to receive msm messages. Data was ok in Spain and Portugal but was never able to receive MSN messages. Customer service was horrible, not a single English speaking agent. I would not recommend orange esim and would never buy it again.

Trepidation based on reviews turns to full satisfaction with service and connection. The orange holiday card is hard to beat, easy to use, and connected well to multiple cell networks in different countries, including the Channel Islands.

I was initially quite concerned by the generally poor reviews. My first interaction with the connection was slightly problematic only because I neglected to turn on data roaming, which is a key part of using the service. Once I determined the issue and restarted the phone, the service worked flawlessly throughout my visit of over three weeks, and I have no complaints.

Generally, speaking, installing the eSIM and using it is simple as long as you follow their directions and note any messages on the screen. It does not require advance knowledge of networking or sim knowhow.

I highly recommend Orange based on the service they provide the features included (the hotspot access is great and a nice bonus) plus the amount of data and an assigned number make this a win over other services.

We bought an Orange Internet Modem and Data on 31st August 2022 in Cahors France. $149.99 ... $99.99 for the modem, $50.00 worth of data.

Everything was okay for 40 days and then NO Internet.

11th October value added top up $23.87's worth of data which lasted 4 four days only.

15th October value added top up $56.48's worth of data which lasted 1 ONE day only.

17th October value added top up $64.54's worth of data which lasted until we left Europe on Nov 2 2022.

Variation in data costs and length at which it lasts is all over the place and there is nowhere to check how your data level is tracking.

NO Phone calls, No SMS's, Just Facebook, email, banking Internet.

NEVER AGAIN will I use ORANGE. $195's worth of data for 63 days is ridiculous.

We have just returned from 32 days in Europe. The esim was easy to purchase prior to our departure and Installation went fairly smoothly. We needed to top up after 2 weeks which was also very easy. The speed was fast and having a local French number was really handy. However….,
The problem was after 30 days you need to register the sim (French law). Orange do NOT answer their phone or email. The logon help is always answered with the same unrelated response irrespective the question. The English phone help line initially heard the problem and just hung up and on the second call were outright rude arrogant and would only assist with registration in French. I contact the UK Telecommunication supplier and they tried to help - they recommend purchasing a new esim after 30 days as it’s too hard to get Orange support. So great product that works well but terrible arrogant rude French company.

I have bought two E-sim plans from eSIM holidays Orange. The plan covers the 11gb roaming data in EU countries for 28days. After an hour from the activation of the E-sim in Austria, Vienna, the internet connection is suddenly failed in both E-sims. The support team was also not very helpful. We emailed for literally a day and then they told me to find an Orange shop. The funny thingis that there is no Orange shop located in Vienna. They also did not accept any refund. We did everything right. They did everything wrong. So, they literally robbed us. I am writing this review, so I may help someone set free from their money trap.

DO NOT GET ORANGE. I just purchased the SIM card and while data works, I can not make any calls, which is the reason why I purchased orange. I tried contacting orange multiple times and it’s the most terrible customer service I have ever received. It’s been 6 days and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Their tech support answer was to restart my phone and to ask if I was using the right numbers to call. They also claimed they emailed me but they never did. I asked for a refund or at least a new working sim and they refused. I am going to try to dispute the charge with my credit card company. This was especially concerning considering I’m solo travelling as a female to multiple countries. I will never ever buy from orange ever again.

Orange is the worst esim company I've ever used. I was stranded in Scotland with no data or cell. I activated my esim and the data worked about 30-1hr before it stopped working and the cell phone and texting never worked. They only have email cutomer support. Even when customer service did finally get back to me the directions didn't work. They also kept sending me iPhone instuctions when I have the latest Galaxy phone. I was also told no refund because I had activated the service. I was told my case would be escalated and given no other information or timeline. By the time someone got back to me. I had already gotten a different esim as I needed it immediately to work. They also then 5 days later emailed me to rate their customer support. Lol, spoiler alert, it was a bad rating. Hopefully this will help someone else to not use Orange travel esim. I wouldn't want them to strand someone else. I am fully intending to fill out reviews everywhere I can on the internet telling people to beware!!!

The most frustrating and over complicated e-sim I have ever used.

The data I purchased was not working despite trying every resolution the agent I was emailing gave me. After exhausting all methods I decide to ask for a refund. They refused to give me a refund as apparently some data had actually been used. Which was NOT true! I showed them countless amounts of evidence that the data did not work, and instead of looking further into it, the bot-like agent I was speaking to decides to resend me the possible resolutions that they had already sent me.

I have not got a refund from them… biggest waste of time, money, and a huge headache!

Do NOT buy a sim with this company if you’re travelling.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
