The Louvre is an essential stop during any Paris trip, but due to its size and its crowds, it can be challenging to navigate alone. With this small-group tour, you don’t have to worry about battling long lines: head right in with priority tickets. Your guide—a trained art historian—will show you the museum’s highlights, all while sharing facts about its history and about the works within its walls.

What to Expect

Meet your guide at a convenient location in central Paris—morning and afternoon departure times are available—and make your way to the Louvre. As one of the world’s largest museums, and among Paris’ most feted landmarks, it always draws crowds. With your skip-the-line access, you can save time and head straight in.

Follow your guide (a trained art historian) through the sprawling museum galleries straight to the highlights; when necessary, you can wear audio headsets so you don’t miss a word. See the Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace, glimpse crowns that belonged to French royalty, and then take in canvases like Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People. With a maximum of six people, this small-group tour lets you get up close and personal with the works.

Finally, head to the sculpture hall to see works by Michelangelo and then view Leonardo Da Vinci’s iconic Mona Lisa with your own eyes. The tour concludes under the glass pyramid inside the Louvre.

See the masterpieces without getting lost

This tour was perfect for us. In 90 minutes, we got to see all of the most famous pieces in the Louvre with tome after to walk around and see more. Skip the line is a must!
