Overview

See the highlights at the Louvre with a guide, and you’ll gain a depth of understanding for famous works such as the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. This tour includes a skip-the-line admission ticket, which should save hours of waiting in line. Plus, you’ll have the option of a morning or afternoon departure time to suit your schedule, or upgrade to a private tour.

What to Expect

Your tour begins outside of the Louvre museum at the time selected during checkout—arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. With your skip-the-line admission ticket, you’ll sail past hours-long lines and head straight inside the museum, home to more than 35,000 works of art.

With your guide, visit world-famous pieces such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, and see French masterpieces from the 19th century including Ingres' La Grande Odalisque, Gericault's The Raft of the Medusa, and the works of David and Delacroix.

Once your guided tour has concluded, you can continue exploring the museum independently.

Delacroix Exposition-Fabulous

We purchased the skip the line pass from our hotel concierge and it was well worth it. Once inside, we didn't have to stand in another line to buy tickets to the special Delacroix exposition. Also, another great tip is.....on Wednesdays the museum is open...More

Good Visit.. Go in Morning!!

Expect to spend 2-4 hours. Best time to go is right when it opens to get in the line. If you go to see the Mona Lisa, find that right away. There are a few little cafes inside to get something to eat or drink

Great Tour!

We did a small group tour and it was well worth the cost. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The museum is so large, it was great to have someone lead us through the museum most famous exhibits.

Worth the price just to skip the long line

If you can only spend one day here, this is the way to do it. This museum is so large, that you could spend a week and not see everything. This was worth the money just to skip the long entry line. That said, having...More

Very possible to see both the Eiffel Tower and tour the Louvre. Because Paris has a very good transit system (either bus or subway) you can quickly get from the museum to the Eiffel Tower.
