Join me as we eat our way across Bordeaux's best boulangeries (bakeries), all of which are recipients of French culinary awards. Each bakery is in a different, vibrant neighbourhood of Bordeaux and along the way, I'll share with you its history and my own personal experiences of the neighbourhood. The guide is friendly, offers clear and interesting historical facts, and keeps a pleasant pace through the historical center, several neighborhoods and the city garden. The treats received at 4 boulangeries were delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

Nikesh our tour guide walked us around Bordeaux to local boulangeries that we would never have discovered on our own. What a journey of delicious bites accompanied by local history, sites and delights.
3 hours walking at a leisurely pace, allowing time for photos, tastings and stories. Walking through the local neighbourhood with a small group of six made the tour intimate, enjoyed the company of new people with the love to food and stories.
This was a really great tour and we highly recommend Nikesh and his tour, fluent in both French and English :)

Highly recommend! Fantastic tour of the city and bakeries. We learned so much more than just about bakeries in Boudreaux. We discovered several neighborhoods in the city. Our guide also recommended many restaurants in the area. Not to be missed!

Nikesh was amazing, I wasn't sure what to expect from the tour but my fiancé and I had a lovely time chatting, eating and learning about the city from him.

Nikesh was a fantastic guide and the tour was wonderful! Be prepared to walk. We covered close to 5 miles and part was by tram. Nikesh is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bordeaux and its neighborhoods. The Boulangeries were delicious: a combination of sweet, savory, and bread. Two are award winners. This was way more than we expected! It was so much fun . We took a bag, knowing we couldn’t eat everything, and brought about half home for today.

Went today with my mum we loved the tour and went away talking about how good it was. The pastries were amazing and we were given lots of info I’m a way which made it seem like he really cared and enjoyed doing the tours. Highly recommend!!!

This is the OG tour. Really great way to walk around Bordeaux and eat the best pastries in Bordeaux. History of Bordeaux was interspersed with the food. You won't be disappointed with the amount of food on offer. Nikesh is the best!

I enjoyed the tour- the various food items were yummy and the guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend it! Also make sure to take pictures of the various Boulangerie so that you can find them on your own later!

Great walking tour! Pastries were all amazing and got to see parts of Bordeaux we wouldn’t have seen! Tour was very knowledgeable, had a great time!

Great tour and superbly accommodating host. We arrived at the (Trip Advisor) designated location 10-minutes before the specified time and became worried after 30-minutes with no show of the host. It turned out that:
1) Trip advisor showed a specific address to meet slightly away from the cathedral entrance that the host had identified.
2) absolutely ZERO cell phone signal so communications between host and us was NIL until we located a bistro that had wifi they shared to us. Once we connected (30-40 minutes late) the host accommodated us on the tour.
The tour was informative, pleasant, great boulangeries and history of the area. Highly recommend booking.
Related side note: We have T-Mobile which is supposed to have free texting and 5 gigabytes of free data internationally. It works EVERYWHERE except Bordeaux. Not sure about the rest of the region. ADVICE: Get a local sim card when in this area.
