Bordeaux Super Saver: Small-Group Wine Tasting and Lunch plus St-Emilion Wine Tour
US$168.26
Overview

Bordeaux, the largest wine growing region in France, is renowned for its full-bodied reds. This value tour combines two top-selling wine experiences in one day, saving you both time and money. First, sample wines from all around France during a Bordeaux wine workshop, including lunch. Then, visit two châteaux in the St-Emilion region and discover the secrets of winemaking with guided tours and tastings.

What to Expect
Meet your guide and group in central Bordeaux for a day enjoying two top-selling wine tours for a comprehensive introduction to French wine and transportation by minivan.

Start the day with a 2-hour wine tasting workshop in Bordeaux and sample wines from all around France, including popular wine regions such as Burgundy, Côtes du Rhône, the Loire Valley, and, of course, Bordeaux.

After lunch at a local venue, set out to explore the vineyards of St-Emilion, one of the most famous appellations in the Bordeaux wine region. Uncover the secrets of French winemaking, “terroir,” and wine classifications during guided tours of two wine châteaux and enjoy guided wine tastings at each destination.

Finally, visit St-Emilion for a walking tour of the medieval village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to Bordeaux.

There was no biking on our tour. We met at the Bordovino apartment at 10.30am and after lunch they drive you in a mini van to the Vineyards. The journey takes 40 minutes. ;)
