The tour length and itinerary can be customized according to your needs and all walks include seeing a beautiful vista of the lake and mountains. Go off the beaten path with Rua, the friendly red setter, tagging along.

What to Expect

Meet your guide across from St. Mary’s Cathedral outside O’Shea’s Funeral Home for this walking tour of Killarney National Park. Led by a private guide, this tour can be lengthened and customized according to your needs.

The tour includes stories of local history, including how the cathedral was once used as a shelter during the great famine. Deenagh Lodge, a historic gate lodge, is now a popular seasonal tea room.

As you explore the national park on foot, witness red deer grazing in the fields and sweeping mountain and lake views. Led by a local guide, this off the beaten path tour has a mascot in Rua, the friendly red setter.

Perfect

The view is exactly what you love in Ireland. Definitely my best experience. The kids loved it, you need good shoes but it's not too physical and totally worth it. The guides were welcoming and the dogs stayed away from those who were scared.
