We went on this tour because we were warned that the Ring of Kerry is quite a challenging drive, and I wanted to see the scenery instead of needing my eyes on the road all the time. Now that I’ve seen the route, I don’t...More
Forget about the left-hand side of the road and relax on this great-value coach tour that circles the mountainous Ring of Kerry route—perfect for lovers of nature and picturesque scenery. See Killarney National Park, Dingle Bay, Moll’s Gap pass, Kells, and more as you learn about Irish heritage, folklore, and culture from one of Ireland’s longest-running tour operators.
After pickup from your Killarney hotel—or leaving your rental car—board your comfortable coach to tour the Iveragh Peninsula on the Ring of Kerry. Listen to tales of Irish folklore, geography, and culture as you cruise in comfort.
The tour normally follows the Ring counterclockwise: along the banks of the River Laune to the little town of Killorglin, via Glenbeigh with its magnificent mountain scenery; Kells, site of an ancient abbey; Cahersiveen town; and the southern shores of Dingle Bay. Continue on to Waterville and along the coast via the 700-foot (213-meter) Coomakista Pass and Derrynane with its sweeping beaches.
From the village of Sneem, travel up to two famous viewpoints—Moll’s Gap and Ladies View—before you return to your hotel in Killarney, or pick up your rental car from the coach depot.

The tour is OK but lacks in a couple of areas. 1. If it left 30-60 minutes earlier lunch wouldn't be a complete rush. 2. Several important historical sites, i.e. stone forts from 600AD are completely ignored in favour of pointing out golf courses and...More
