Blarney Castle Day Tour from Dublin including Blarney Stone
From US$59.27
Overview
Get a feel for the scenery and history of both County Tipperary and County Cork without the need to rent a car on this day trip from Dublin. Accompanied by insightful commentary from a guide, visit the area's highlights, such as Blarney Castle, St. Coleman's Cathedral, the Galtee Mountains, and the Titanic Experience.
What to Expect

Make your way to a convenient central spot in Dublin to meet your guide and group in the morning. Climb into a comfortable tour vehicle and depart the bustling city, viewing the scenery out the window and being thankful you don’t have to do any driving. This full-day trip allows you to see the highlights of both County Tipperary and County Cork without the hassle or expense of renting a car.

Pass first through County Tipperary’s Golden Vale, some of Europe’s most fertile lands, and get views of the outlying Galtee Mountains on the way to southern County Cork. Stop at the Rock of Cashel and disembark to follow in the footsteps of St. Patrick, past a collection of ruins, round towers, and Celtic crosses. Learn about this site, the traditional seat of the Kings of Munster and one of the best examples of medieval architecture, through your guide’s engaging commentary.

Continue on to Cork City, where you’ll have some leisure time to explore on your own. Your guide will point you toward some of the can’t-miss highlights, such as the English Markets, where you can grab lunch, a shot of whiskey, or a pint of traditional Irish stout (own expense).

Depart Cork and head for Blarney Castle, where you will take an independent stroll around the grounds, enjoy the Lake Walk, and visit the castle’s Witches Cave. Of course, you’ll also have a chance to visit and kiss the Blarney Stone in the castle’s battlements to ensure your “gift of gab” for the next seven years.

On the way back to Dublin, stop at the Blarney Woolen Mills and craft shop for some tax-free shopping. Get dropped off at your original departure point in Dublin.

Great trip with Richard!

Had an awesome time with Richard. Very entertaining and a great driver. Got us to the Blarney Stone with no wait at all and gave us plenty of time at the other stops! Our bus was very luxurious with ac and WiFi. Great trip.

Great Tour with T and Tom

The tour was great the ride to Blarney from Dublin was about 3 hours so there was a pit stop on the way and back. I would recommend sitting close to the door and making your way straight to the steps to kiss the stone...More

Magical!

We took the tour of Blarney Castle and Cork. I think we were supposed to make one more stop, but our tour day was the day after St. Patrick’s Day and there was a fluke snow storm in and around Dublin! So the one stop...More

We were supposed to do the tour to blarney castle and to cobh. Blarney is beautiful, but the line up to the stone is endless (keep that in mind when you are going there). So we really hurried but were 5 minutes (exactly 5!!) late...More
