Ireland's Ancient East Day Trip from Dublin, Including Boyne Valley
From US$53.46

Travel back in time through Ireland’s rich history on this full-day bus tour that’s perfect for any history lover. Let your local guide explain their land’s passionate past, as you visit Trim Castle, the Hill of Tara, the Hill of Uishneacht, and the ancient Loughcrew Megalithic Cairns.

What to Expect

Meet your coach and local guide at Suffolk Street in central Dublin—bring breakfast to eat on the ride north. Your first destination is the Hill of Uishneacht. Explore the ancient site before continuing on to Loughcrew Megalithic Cairns with passage tombs and rock art that date back 6,000 years.

Next, visit the ancient town of Trim and tour its 12th-century castle, before you continue east to the Hill of Tara, the ceremonial seat of Celtic High Kings for more than 1,000 years.

Afterward, board the bus for a ride back to Suffolk Street.
