Itinerary
Your tour begins with a pickup from central Inverness. Settle into the air-conditioned coach as it travels out of the city and into the surrounding countryside.

Enjoy enlightening and entertaining commentary from your guide throughout the tour. Upon arrival at the pier, board the cruise boat and take in the sweeping views as you cross the still waters of Loch Ness toward the romantic ruins of Urquhart Castle. Keep your eyes peeled for "Nessie," the fabled Loch Ness Monster, along the way.

Enjoy free time to tour the crumbled castle that, in its 500-year-long role as a medieval fortress, has a long and bloody history. Learn about King Edward I’s invasion in the 13th century, its importance during the 14th-century Wars of Scottish Independence, and multiple raids during the 15th and 16th centuries.

Snap photos of the Highland vista from the castle before re-boarding the coach for the return journey. Your tour concludes back at the original departure point.

Short and pleasant tour

From Clansman harbour a two hours trip to discover the Loch Ness and the Urquhart castle. A stunning spot ! We were there in August and unfortunately it was really crowded but it is really worth going.

Perfect half day tour

We completely enjoyed this tour. Our driver, Allan, was friendly and knowledgeable and very clear about what we were supposed to do and what we would be seeing. The boat ride was terrific, very calm. We embrace the Scottish weather.

Beautiful lake, perfectly organised trip

I didn't expect to see anything out of the ordinary on this cruise, it was more like box-ticking and a pleasant stop on in the middle of a long drive north, so it met my expectations. The lake is beautiful, the cruise runs smoothly. I...More

Great half day

Reasonably priced I thought for 4 of us right down the Loch and part of canal. Interesting information and great views and sights. Kids enjoyed it - worth a visit if in Inverness.
