The day trip was fantastic. Our tour guide and bus driver, Connor, was fantastic. The ride was smooth, scenic, and comfortable. Connor was knowledgeable and delivered the information in a calm, creative, and funny manner. He is very easy going.

The history and rich landscape were breathtaking. I could easily visualize the moments and events discussed. The castle is majestic and the little towns where we stopped for lunch and breaks were charming.

I would certainly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Connor was a great guy and very friendly
I enjoyed the stories he has been telling us on the road.
Castle itself is amazing there are no words to describe it.
I totally would recommend you to take this trip especially if you are a harry potter fan but even if you are not it is a great trip to see an old castle and the quiet town next to it
A nice break from Edinburgh chaos

Conner was an experienced story teller and we stopped at 2 castles. There was an opportunity to ride a broomstick and shoot arrows at the castle. There are a couple of short stops so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. We saw the countryside down and back again along with a history of the recent unpleasantness of the English oppressors. Great areas for picture taking. Also get to touch the North Sea so there’s that.

It was kinda disappointing because there wasn’t much activity to do and not much to see due to Covid. We did not get to see the inside of the castle,it was only the outside. Sadly the gift shop was also closed. I wouldn’t really recommend going at this point of time but if you were to go,I would definitely recommend going for archery. It was the main highlight for me during my trip there.

Thank you for your 4-star review and feedback. I am very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by COVID. For a small number of tours, we have arranged alternative activities for passengers due to COVID restrictions. I am glad you enjoyed the tour and we would welcome the chance to have you travel with us again in the future. Best Wishes, Maggie

Connor entertained us with detailed history and some cracking jokes. He had great tips for making the most of our time and was considerate of everyone on tour. I loved the links from Movies to our tour locations. Thanks Connor!

Connor was a warm, informative & lovely guide. Highly recommend any tours with him! The castle was incredible, with loads of activities to do there. A must for any Potter fan. The first stop off by the sea was also lovely - wonderful walk down to the sea and really nice coffee and scones at local cafe.

The visit to Alnwick was interesting - but the timing was such that we missed some of the tours in that castle. We stopped at another castle but it was too early to go in so we walked around and walked to the beach which was nice.
