For a deathly creepy ghost tour, you need a great guide. Join your terrifying conductor aboard a vintage Routemaster double-decker bus for an Edinburgh ghost tour with a difference. As you travel past eerie sights like Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, Greyfriars Kirk, and Edinburgh Castle, thrill to gory anecdotes from the city’s chilling past.

What to Expect

As night falls, board the bus in central Edinburgh and pick a seat. As you ride through the streets, let your conductor transport you to the city’s dark side. Hear tales of murder, slaughter, torture, and ghosts; shiver at the story of Burke and Hare, gravediggers who turned serial killers to feed medical schools’ desire for fresh corpses; tremble at the memories of the witch hunts in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Learn a different, darker side of this historic city as you pass haunted sites like Greyfriars Kirk, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. You’ll finish in Edinburgh Old Town with plenty of time for a warming whisky at a local pub.

Wasn't what we expected

Was expecting scared and ghouls but had yawns and boredom. Sorry to say, it's probably the worst tour I've ever done. Nothing scary, didn't find the conductor that funny. It was light hearted fun but really wasn't for us at all.

Spooky yet funny

Not sure what to expect but had a thoroughly entertaining time on the bus, very funny conductor, not so sure about the "drunk bus driver" but he did get us home safe from the bridges and ghouls. Do not expect to be scared witless instead...More
