      Amazing Day!
Peter was a fantastic guide for our first visit to the magical land of Wales. We wish we could have spent many days there. We highly recommend BusyBus. We saw more on this tour than we ever could have imagined.

The most beautiful place on earth!
Absolutely amazing experience! We arrived on tender from cruise ship and they were easy to find. Peter was an excellent guide and quite hilarious! I was not sure what to expect with this excursion but I can honestly say that it was hands down the most BEAUTIFUL....and I cannot stress enough....BEAUTIFUL place that I have ever been in my life!

      Superb tour.
Superb tour. Adrian and Phil looked after us all day. We are Welsh, but arrived on cruise ship from Southampton, off a Princess Tender (not easy). Easy to find, a little disorganised to start with, which scared the American tourists. Guides were constantly lovely, had to cut the tour short due to the Princess messing tendering up, amongst other things. Missed Betwys y Coed. Good Welsh humour throughout, and we can see why they have won awards - Kept us constantly engaged, from black sheep spotting, dragons and Alicia Keys. Could have done with 15 mins longer at Conwy and less time in LlanfairPG. Waste of time going up the Castle walls in Conwy, which they recommended. Go into the town instead. Wales on a bad day, which we had, is at least atmospheric. Loved it start to finish. Expensive, but worth it.

Unforgettable North Wales Adventure with Gerry!
We did the CHESTER: North Wales Adventure - Sightseeing Day Trip Tour from Chester on July 4th, and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had on a tour, thanks largely to Gerry. Gerry was the best guide we’ve ever had. He shared great stories, engaged in meaningful conversations, provided outstanding attention, and demonstrated exceptional driving skills. Since we were a small group, we moved faster than expected and were even able to make an extra quick stop. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to anyone. If you can, ask for Gerry and tour with him—he’s truly passionate about his work, history, and the outdoors, and he conveys that passion brilliantly. Gerry played a significant role in making our trip enjoyable (along with the nice weather).

This was the perfect way for us to explore North Wales. We arrived to Holyhead on a cruise ship, and we knew that hiking around Holyhead would have been enjoyable and scenic, but we wanted to see more of North Wales. The cruise ship excursions are always overpriced, so I searched for independent tours. Busy Bus fills up fast, and I recommend that you book as soon as possible.

At the start of our journey, our guide and driver were in a bind. They had to leave people behind, and Busy Bus should not be faulted for it. If an independent tour says that they depart 30 minutes after the first person departs the ship (or tender boat), then it is up to the passenger to get up extra early for a tender ticket or at the front of the line. The tour company shouldn't get negative reviews for leaving behind those who don't plan their time.

Shelly (our guide/narrator) was amazing, funny, and incredibly welcoming. She taught us so much and gave us great insight into Welsh culture. We love that she included various recorded songs to illustrate what she was talking about. Our driver Keron/Cieron was also very kind and helpful - and showed us where he lived (as the bus passed his home). His childhood included fishing and hiking beautiful North Wales.

This was one of the best stops of our cruise, and we credit that to our Busy Bus tour. It was priced much less than those sponsored by the cruise line, and as promised, Busy Bus returned us to the shore with plenty of time before sailing.

What a treat! Sherry was AWESOME! As we departed, we were welcomed with a beautiful song by a very famous artist and that could only be heard on the tour!! North Wales is a very beautiful country and we only had a very short time to see as much as possible when our cruise ship docked. This cruise tour provided us to see towns, castles, the national park and the town with the longest name. Sherry was a joy to have as a tour guide and gave us great information on the area. I highly recommend this company!

It isn't too often that an excursion vendor provides exactly what they promised .... and MORE ... Our guide Shelly was energetic, talkative, interesting, a good story teller and more.
We had ample time at each stop and never felt rushed nor bored.
This is the tour to take when you port in Holyhead.

We arrived in Holyhead by cruise ship and found our bus waiting for us. They provided a informative tour that lasted about 8 hours, both our tour guide and driver were very knowledgable. We drove past all the sheep farms, so many babies frolicking including several little black sheep, on our way to Caernarfon where we were given time to explore the castle and town before heading to Ogwen Valley which provided wonderful views of the countryside and lake. We also had a great stop in Conway where we walked the castle wall and visited a wonderful old church hidden away just down the street. This is the best way to spend your time in port.

Dreadful treatment of solo travellers. Despite paying in full 4 months in advance and Busybus advertising ‘there is plenty of room and a window view for everyone’, solo travellers are directed to the middle back seat and squashed between 2 other passengers with a view of the bus aisle. The driver became abrupt and rude when challenged and sent me to a second bus along with anyone else who objected. That second bus sold tickets on the day and waited until it was full, again with a solo traveller down the back. The guide mentioned there was 55 people on the bus, so I imagine that was 53 passengers. Just utterly greedy behaviour, no need to sell the middle back seat and discriminatory as well because only solo travellers were directed to the middle back seat. Solo travellers beware.

This is not quite accurate now is it? You were the last one to board the bus and there was one seat left which happened to be at the back of the bus in the middle. At the first stop, you boarded before the others who were sitting next to you and took one of the seats that was previously occupied. You were then asked by the guide if you would prefer to go onto another bus which you opted to do. It is amazing how only giving a small portion of the facts distorts the readers perception of the event. We are still baffled why you think paying for a shore excursion in advance gives you some sort of entitlement to choose whatever seat you want. Life does not work that way! Fortunately, the rest of the passengers who were on the first vehicle that you boarded were all very happy with the rest of the tour once you had changed coaches.

I was an admin for our cruise sailing. I created a spreadsheet with various non cruise organized tour options so our group could have more opportunities. I came across this tour and it looked amazing, but I couldn't find a ton of reviews so I was a little hesitant that I just solicited this to 200 people in our group. Well none of us in our large group were disappointed. This tour was amazing!!! We visited Caernarfon Castle, Bethesda, Snodon, Betws Y Coed, Conwy Castle and the longest city name in the world I choose to leave off here. ;) Peter was our tour guide and he was amazing!!!! The day was just spectacular. Everything was planned with perfect timing amd we never felt rushed. The company even takes pictures for you and posts to their local Facebook page by tour incase you have camera issues. Well done!!! Highly recommend!

Our narrator Peter and our driver were both excellent. The bus was comfortable and the weather was perfectly clear so we were able to go up Mt Snowdon. I would highly recommend Busybus and this tour if you're ship's port is Holyhead.

More Kudos for BusyBus and their North Wales trip from Holyhead. Great communication since tendering took longer than anticipated. itinerary was adjusted on the fly and no-one felt short-changed. Shelly was a delightful, knowledgable host and Garret was an amazing driver. Definitely great value for money.

Cruise excursion I booked on our own and so glad we did. Shelley our guide and Phil our driver were the best. We covered so much from quaint town that has the longest name to beautiful park and the castles were spectacular. The narration on history and culture by Shelly were not only educational but very entertaining. We got to listen to a few songs that also added to the experience.

We were hesitant to go on this tour with Busybus after two very bad experiences with them in Greenock and Liverpool (Chester).

However, we had a wonderful guide Shelly? She was very entertaining and informative. I would recommend her anytime. As she was not from Wales, she often depended on the bus driver to confirm her local stories. This made the tour more interactive. She was great and we enjoyed her very much.

The sites were wonderful, beautiful valleys and quaint villages. We enjoyed the drive very much.

We had two large buses with 41 people on our bus. This was not what I expected or hoped for. As the bus had two doors it worked out fine.

I suggest, the company review the length of time spent at each stop when doing shore excursions. I appreciate that the company accommodates the ship schedule BUT to spend an hour and a quarter in Caernarvon at 9am when the castle, shops and even the bathroom is closed, and then not have time later in the day to visit castles and towns that are open does not make a lot of sense to me. Perhaps a little more thought into the timing of the day would make the tour more enjoyable for your customers.

Although Shelly was great, and Wales was beautiful, we would not recommend BusyBus.
