Get an inside look at the world of Harry Potter on this walking tour in Oxford. In a small group of no more than 15 people, accompany your guide as they take you inside the grand buildings of Oxford University, including New College and Divinity School — both featured as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hear lesser-known stories about the filming, as well as context about Oxford's long history as a place of literary inspiration.
What to Expect
Meet your guide—dressed in a Hogwarts-esque cloak, they'll be easy to find—in the center of Oxford and embark upon your tour.

As you walk toward Oxford University, listen as your guide tells you about the city's pre-J.K. Rowling literary heritage and the authors, including C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkein, and Lewis Carroll, who studied, wrote, and lived here. Your guide also provides some inside information about the filming of the movies.

Discover the magic of the New College and Divinity School, and understand why they were featured in the movies. Also, marvel at the 11 million antique volumes in Bodleian Library.

After exploring the filming locations, your tour concludes at the original departure point.
