Overview
Escape the city for the day and visit some of west England’s prettiest places on a 10.5-hour tour of Bath, Avebury, and Lacock from London. Ideal for history buffs, this tour covers the Roman spa town of Bath, replete with Georgian architecture, and the village of Lacock. Plus, you’ll visit Avebury to see the largest prehistoric stone circle in the world. Small-group tour limited to six people.
What to Expect
Your tour begins at the Greenline Coach Terminal in Victoria Coach Station, where you’ll arrive 15 minutes in advance of your 9am start time. Here, you’ll board an air-conditioned coach and listen to an historic overview of west England during the 2.5-hour journey.
On arrival in Bath, you’ll have ample free time to discover the main attractions of the UNESCO World Heritage City, home to the Roman Baths and the grandiose Bath Abbey.
Following lunch (own expense), you’ll continue to Lacock village, famed for its picturesque streets, historic buildings, and role as a filming location.
The final stop is Avebury, home to a colossal stone circle that boasts the title of the world’s largest prehistoric stone circle, making it larger than the UNESCO-listed Stonehenge.
Conclude your tour with drop-off at your original departure point.

Awesome ttip

The price is cheap and the trip was awesome. I definitely had a blast. Our driver John was humorous and informative who made the tour laugh on the road.
