Overview
London’s East End, full of fashionable boutiques and innovative eateries, is famed for its Indian cuisine. During this 3-hour walking tour, you’ll navigate the buzzing bars and neon-fronted restaurants of Brick Lane with a local guide. Sample curries, savories, and sweets originating from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, and learn about London’s cosmopolitan culinary culture. More than ten dishes and two drinks are included on this small-group tour, limited to 12 food lovers.
What to Expect

Your East End experience begins outside of Whitechapel Art Gallery, located on Whitechapel High Street near Aldgate East tube station. Greet your guide here at 7pm on Tuesday through Friday or 5pm on Saturday.

As you stroll past the brightly colored restaurants lining Brick Lane, your guide offers insight into London’s cosmopolitan food culture and explains some of the area’s best dishes.

In a variety of different restaurants, sample pathia, madras, and vegetarian curries, traditional Indian savories such as pakoras, sizzling Tandoori chicken, and a secret dish only revealed on the day of your tour. Receive a cold Indian beer, a glass of wine, or a soft drink, and paan, an Indian refresher made of betel leaf. Please see the Itinerary section for a full menu.

After three hours of feasting, your tour concludes on Brick Lane.
