Overview

On this bicycle tour around London, you won’t just pass the city’s most famous landmarks—you’ll also get off the tourist trail and discover the lesser-known corners that locals frequent. See Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, and more, and continue to Covent Garden for a traditional pub visit. Budding artists can even try their hand at creating street art in Banksy’s Tunnel near Waterloo.

What to Expect

Meet your guide at the Walrus Bar—just adjacent to Waterloo Station—and get ready to bike across London. You guide will supply classic, British-made Pashley bikes for everyone, as well as helmets and other necessary equipment.

Once you’re suited up, begin your tour. Spot Lambeth Palace and then continue to Westminster, home to a huge array of iconic landmarks. See Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the Houses of Parliament, and then head to Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Park. As you go, your guide will share facts and stories about London’s rich history.

Then, your next stop is Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, where you’ll take a break at a traditional pub (and purchase a pint of ale, if you wish).

Finally, make your way back to Banksy’s Tunnel: an under-the-radar tunnel where street artists have permission to work. Leave your own spray-painted signature before returning to the Walrus Bar, where the tour ends.

I found this trip interesting, also because I hadn't visited this "official" part of London since the seventies. There were a few squares and streets I hadn't seen before. The guide was knowledgable and very entertaining (and an all-round good bloke). The bikes were comfortable...More

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. A Tuesday in November may not be the best time to visit London but the weather was kind and we were delighted by Tally Ho! Tours. Whiskey Mick was our guide, erudite and amusing in equal parts. We...More
