The Queen’s official London home, Buckingham Palace ranks among England’s most famous landmarks—yet it’s only open to the public two months each year. With this tour, you’ll secure your audio-guided visit to the palace’s State Rooms during the often-sold-out summer opening. A guided stroll through St. James's Park and front-row views of the Changing of the Guard (your guide knows the best spots along the Mall to watch the ceremony) also included.

What to Expect
Meet your guide at a central London location before strolling through St. James’s Park—one of the capital’s eight Royal Parks—to get to Buckingham Palace.

You’ll experience the palace at its liveliest with the Changing of the Guard, a traditional ceremony that sees guards wearing red jackets and bearskin hats on the march, accompanied by a military band. Or, on days when the ceremony isn’t held, learn about Buckingham Palace’s history and intrigue on a walking tour.

Next, guaranteed admission means you’ll have the rare chance to enter Buckingham Palace, which is only open to the public two months each year (and which always sells out). Plug in your audio guide and see the palace’s sumptuous State Rooms—used today for royal events—up close. Your tour concludes at the palace gates.

Fantastic experience

You cannot take photos inside, but it is incredible to be there inside the palace. Well worth it in my opinion. Took my 13yo and she really enjoyed it as well.

Rip off Tour

We realised after entering Buckingham Palace that the entry fee is a quarter of the price if you book direct and you can see the changing of the guard ceremony for yourself for free. This tour is a complete waste of money!!!More

Great insight of the Royal palace

When we waited at the Duke of York's statue it all looked rather chaotic with lots of people waiting but it soon became apparent that it was well organised and there were no problems. Our guide Richard was very informative and spoke with knowledge and...More

We were told not to bring these items but I saw a lot of people walking around with backpacks and bags. They do not have lockers (I didn’t see any) but I think you can leave larger items (such as strollers) outside and they... More

Even though the tour started at 10:30am we only had a 12:15 entrance into the Palace. Up until then you walk around and watch the changing of the guard in 3 different locations. It took about half an hour to clear the... More

Not at the meeting point which is simply at the gate. There are some cafes in the neighborhood as I recall. But at the end, there is a refreshment area in the gardens. Get the profiteroles. Restrooms are there. And the gift... More
