Windsor Castle Admission with Transport from London
From US$66.10
Overview
Visit Windsor Castle — one of Queen Elizabeth II’s official residences — with this independent, full-day experience, which includes an entrance ticket and round-trip transport from London. Travel in a comfortable, climate-controlled coach to the Royal Borough of Windsor, and then make the most of free time to explore the castle with an audio guide.
What to Expect
Begin with a pickup from Victoria Coach Station in central London, and then take in the beautiful English countryside as you drive west to Windsor, a postcard-perfect town best known as the home of Windsor Castle.

Head inside the stately castle — whose grounds stretch some 13 acres (5 hectares) — and make the most of around two hours of free time to explore independently. Plug into your included audio guide and learn about the castle’s history as you check off the royal residences most impressive highlights.

See Queen Mary’s Doll House, created by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyets; explore the lavishly decorated State Apartments; admire masterpieces by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and other luminaries; and watch the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (time permitting), which takes place daily.

When the time comes, meet your coach at the prearranged time and place, and travel back to London.

Windsor

Loved Windsor itself but very boring bus ride there. No guide and a drop off location different then where you met. Would recommend Windsor but not through Golden Tours

Top Notch

Recently, we booked a half-day tour from London center to Windsor (afternoon). Travel was easy and the castle was more than was expected. A special mention should be made for our driver, Peter, who handled the bus through terrible traffic and gave us sufficient time...More

When I do another trip to London I will take the train to Windsor and plan on spending 3-4 hrs doing the castle and Windsor. Taking this tour is a waste of money and time.
