Leave London by coach and listen to the history of Warwick Castle through your Vox headphones as you travel. Then opt to visit the castle itself (own expense); otherwise, explore Warwick on a walking tour.

Your next destination is Stratford-upon-Avon, a pretty market town famous as the birthplace of Sir William Shakespeare. Explore it at your leisure or check out Shakespeare’s Birthplace (own expense), a museum that pays homage to the life of the playwright.

Travel onward to the university city of Oxford for a tour of its historical center and then relax on the journey through the Cotswolds. An area of quintessential English countryside, the hilly green region with its stone cottages is rich in history and you’ll learn all about it as you pass through.

Your tour then finishes back at the starting point in London.

Please note: All entrance fees are at your own expense.

You can catch a train from London's Marylebone station direct to Warwick station and then either walk or take a cab to the castle entrance.

On our tour, we were told that we did not have time for the Castle Dungeon. However, it may depend on the tour guide and timeline.
