    What to Expect
Visit: Broadway Tower, Middle Hill Parking: what3words ///pebble.crouches.galaxies, Broadway WR12 7LB England

Broadway Tower was the brainchild of the great 18th Century landscape designer, Capability Brown. His vision was carried out for George William 6th Earl of Coventry with the help of renowned architect James Wyatt and completed in 1798. The location for the Tower was wisely chosen, a dramatic outlook on a pre-medieval trading route and beacon hill.

Standing in its dramatic location at 65 feet high Broadway Tower has some of the best views in England. Did you know we can see up to 16 counties from the top of the Tower? And we’re on the Cotswold Way – so it’s a paradise for cyclists, walkers and wildlife lovers. Perfect for a family day out.

Broadway Tower houses exhibitions on three floors about the history of its occupants and colourful past. Enjoy a leisurely climb of the Tower in manageable stages. See examples of the work of William Morris and understand the link between the Tower and the Arts and Crafts movement before ascending to an exhibition of the Royal Observer Corps and learn how the post situated 70 yards from the Tower was used in World War Two and the Cold War. Crown your visit with breath-taking views from the roof platform.

Took a short walk and then went to the tower. Would be good for a family to hike/picnic as well, although they don’t have a picnic area and prefer you to buy their food. Cafes reasonably priced though. Tower has been well looked after and...More

Treat yourself to a couple of hours . Fresh air, tower, history, plane crash site, deer, scenery. We found ourselves here a few days ago. Took some great pics, even the slightly dark clouds made for some stunning views. Think Glastonbury Tor, Peel Tower etc,...More

The view from the top is fantastic and the walk up from the village is worth the effort. You can park by the tower but if you are staying in the village I would walk up. Quite steep and will take about an hour but...More

A great place to visit if you have a few hours to spare, we got there 20 minutes before closing but was promised free entry for the next day but as we aren't local it would be hard to come back. The views are fantastic...More

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. The Tower is open from 10-5 every day but why not start the day with a leisurely breakfast at the Morris & Brown cafe or at the Tower Barn here on site?

We got a little lost on the 20 minute circular walk ending up in Broadway meaning we had a long, uphill walk back to the tower. That said, the walk was good fun with fabulous views. The tower itself is great. Lots (but not too...More

yes but park near the café. This has a small charge. I suspect if you can park in the outside lane you can just walk in depends how busy it is as a very popular attraction on a nice day
